The sun cast a warm glow through the apartment windows, illuminating the living room where Gabriel and Mia were setting up an art station. Newspapers were spread across the floor, paint bottles and brushes neatly arranged, and a large canvas stood ready for their masterpiece. Gabriel had taken the day off to spend some quality time with Mia, and they had decided to create an art piece together.

"Are you excited to paint, Mia?" Gabriel asked, kneeling beside her.

Mia nodded enthusiastically, her eyes sparkling. "Yes, Daddy! I want to make something beautiful."

Gabriel smiled, his heart swelling with pride and love. "Then let's get started. What do you want to paint today?"

Mia thought for a moment, her little brow furrowing in concentration. "I want to paint a big tree with lots of colorful leaves and a rainbow in the sky."

"That sounds perfect," Gabriel said, squeezing her hand. "Let's do it."

As they began to paint, Gabriel guided Mia's hand, helping her mix colors and apply them to the canvas. Mia's giggles filled the room as they worked together, their hands covered in paint.

Meanwhile, Olivia was in her home office, going over some documents for Hawthorne Enterprises. She couldn't help but smile as she listened to the sounds of laughter and creativity coming from the living room. Taking a break, she decided to check on her family.

When Olivia walked into the living room, she found Gabriel and Mia deep in their project. Gabriel was patiently showing Mia how to blend colors for the leaves, his expression focused and gentle. Mia was beaming, completely absorbed in their artwork.

"How's it going in here?" Olivia asked, leaning against the doorway.

Gabriel looked up and grinned. "We're creating a masterpiece. Want to join us?"

Olivia chuckled, shaking her head. "I'll leave the art to you two experts. Just wanted to see how my favorite artists are doing."

Mia looked up at her mother, her face smudged with paint. "Mommy, look! We're making a tree and a rainbow!"

"It looks amazing, Mia," Olivia said, her heart melting at the sight of her daughter and fiancé working together. "You're both doing such a wonderful job."

She stayed for a few more minutes, watching them work and offering words of encouragement before heading back to her office. As she walked away, she felt a profound sense of happiness and contentment. Her family was her greatest source of joy, and moments like these were priceless.

Back in the living room, Gabriel and Mia continued to paint, their bond growing stronger with each stroke of the brush. Gabriel took every opportunity to teach Mia new techniques, praising her efforts and encouraging her creativity.

Olivia returned to the living room just as they were cleaning up. She gasped in delight when she saw the finished piece. "It's incredible! You two did such a wonderful job."

Mia ran to her, wrapping her arms around her waist. "We made it together, Mommy. It's our special painting."

Olivia hugged her tightly, her eyes meeting Gabriel's over Mia's head. "It's perfect," she said softly, her voice filled with emotion.

Gabriel walked over and kissed her on the forehead. "We make a great team, all of us."
