To say I miss you

To say I miss you,
would be a white lie.

You are simply missing;
from the yellow chair that loudly squeaked
which you used to paint
a different hue every week,

from the kitchen
where you used to dance.

You are missing
from my arms
where you used to lie,
and I used to smile.
