" and for so long I wanted to here those words but now that I did it makes me want to kill you , now where Is My mate"Darius asked calmly after removing the bracelet off her arms which contained the crystal that allowed vampires to be in the sunlight. " Darius!!!, you love me , y-you would never hurt me" she says " you don't really know me when I become possessive over something do you? Now Amma try this one last time . Where .is .my . Mate " he asked and something in her knew he was serious. " she's in a cave in the east ......on her father's pack grounds" she finally says and instantly Darius walks off . " give me back my bracelet or I'll burn alive" she shouted from a distance " the thing is I don't trust you so if your truthful I'll be back in time before the sun comes up" he replies
" I just want to know ...... did you ever love me" she asked " I guess you'll never know, now please enjoy the sight you have of the moon, it might be your last" he says pointing at the small hole in the ceiling exposing the moon and then he was off with a smirk.
" just a little bit further" Lexi says " this is getting ridiculous" Lilly replied walking with her light " wait.... She is somewhere off here . I can sense her" Lexi says and a ray of hope appeared in Alex eyes .
Inez had manage to find the exit but now she had lost a couple nails , her hair was falling plus blood was flowing from her eyes and ears not to mention her mouth. As she crumbled slowly she could smell her mates and some other's but she couldn't reached them . " Lexi!!!!" She shouted but it was too weak and she ended tripping and fall . " Alex...... she called softly while she lay on her side with the wrath of the cold ground, all her happy moments came flashing back .... From the time she met Darius ,to the nice things Alex has done ,to Lilly always being there for her. " this is it" Inez says to her wolf " keep your eyes open"Kenna shouted
" did you hear that??" Alex asked " that's her ..... it was faint but still that's her" rose says and without another word Alex was off to his mate .
" littla hybrid " Darius called walking towards her " love" Alex called arriving right after . But when they attempted to get closer they were flung back. " what's this" Alex asked frustrated " just as I expected she spelled her...... you me nor Darius can't touch her" Lexi says with a sigh " that leaves - Darius started but Ryan interrupted. " Inez??" He called rushing to her and he actually passed " come on ........ fight" he says taking her up .
" Alex I need you to bleed" Lexi says " what will that do" Alex asked " your the only one who she fed off connecting your blood with hers might break the spell that bind her from anyone with our blood" lexi explain . As Alex heard this he attempted to bite his rist but Darius grabbed his arm and sank his thangs into it within a second. " god your so short tempered"Alex replied after seeing this
" I smell something" Inez says " mate" Kenna says . Inez then tried to reach the the source but nothing happened. " she's trying to move" Ryan says "raputish expectus " she murmured . After a couple of minutes she says . "Now!" She shouted to Alex and he ran forward swinging his arm to connect their blood . Ryan then bit her rist and swag her arm ,soon their blood connected .Alex then ran to her breaking the spell. After her got to her everyone else did . " come on love !! Open your eyes" Alex shouted " open your eyes my little hybrid" Darius says in just a whisper. Inez head currently lied in Darius lap while Ryan held her arm , Alex knelt down, Lexi looked for something in her bag , Lilly and rose walked back and forth.
" give her this" Lexi says and Darius grabs the liquid and pour it down her mouth. 5 minutes passed 6 minutes passed and it was as if she was gone . With no heartbeat and bearly a pulse a tear escaped Darius eyes something that never happened. Everyone else stayed in silence, some with the sadness of loosing a friend and a great person others with pity for her mates for they know that it hurt. Ryan picked up her arm again not willing to let her go. " come back to me Inez " he says leaving everyone in shock. Even thought Darius and Alex was too busy begging the universe to bring her back .... The others neck snapped to him.
" please don't leave me love" Alex begged but with no reply he got up with a sigh. Soon after Darius gently placed her fragile head on the ground and fallowed . " she's gone" Alex says looking to the sky, darius on the other hand stood silently behind him knowing if he said one wrong word he could increase the pain for he himself knew this pain all to well .....after all he felt it before.
" crack" they heard in her direction and all heads snapped to her. After seeing her eyes wide open and her position changed from laying on her back to standing on her two feet , the race began as to who could reached to her quicker. we all knew who won though . "Love" Alex called out . one stood in-front and one stood behind ,with each of them leaving one hand on her waist And Inez trying to hug both boys with her shaking figure . They wanted to stay like this forever.
As both boys nuzzled into her neck it was the most comforting feeling she has felt in a while but soon she pulled away not wanting to over do it. When she turned around she saw all the people who cared about her and with both excitement and love she attempted to walk to them . About 3 steps into the walk she began to wobble and almost fell..... " be careful your still weak you could fa- Lexi started but at last minute a man who loved her more than anything jumped in. " not while am here" Darius says picking her up.
It's been a few days and Inez was still quite fragile to begin with. " You have to feed if you want to gain your Strength" Alex tells her putting a blood Bach beside her. "I don't need to do anything but die" Inez responds " what are you even on about" Alex asked and she turned around with her eyes a little darker blue than the baby blue ones they once knew . " did you even came here because of you or because Darius is with me now" she asked " what's going on" Alex asked " take a look around you , you don't talk to me unless Darius wants neither do you show me any sort of affection unless he does" Inez says
" my brother and I relationship is more complicated than you think" Alex explains " what's complicated" Darius says entering " I don't need anyone to be sympathetic with me just because I am injured then go right back to leaving me when am better" she accused. " your just being paranoid.." Darius says and Alex gave him the ( you've messed up) look while Inez laugh. " yes that's exactly what I am for thinking I had a shot at having a happy life " she says " that's not what I meant" Darius says again " that's exactly what you meant but it's fine" Inez explain looking away. " you know how much you mean to me .... To us" Alex says " do I thought ?? I mean you can't be with me if he's not and he doesn't love me enough to want me" she says looking at Darius
" I do but....... Darius started and then trailed off " not as much as you did her" Inez says " she was my first of course forgetting her won't come easy" Darius says " I wasn't asking for you to forget her because we both know that's not possible. I was asking you to at least acknowledge my feelings" Inez shouted " can you guys stop shouting" Alex says " just go!!" Inez orders turning her back and they saw a mark on there. " I didn't hear the door" she says again
