How It All Started (Sequel SasuNaru Story) pt.2

Chapter 18

     Naruto was upset, like really...really upset. Sasuke actually said no, he denied sleeping on the same couch with him, and for what freaking reason?! 'Any other night he will but tonight he won't?! Why?!' He cursed himself because on a normal night he'd be shocked to even think about sharing a slumber with him, but now that he was vulnerable and wanting it more than anything, the Uchiha says no? 'Kit...you can't confess your love for him while you're both hammered with liquor...jeez Naruto...I figured you'd have at least a little common sense.'

     The blonde fell silent, he didn't say anything to Kuruma and the room was already extremely quiet after Sasuke gave his answer. It's been already ten minutes since then and by now the raven had to of been asleep already. The room was somewhat lit with the lamp right by the desk making it hard to tell but nonetheless he turned on his side and glanced down at the Uchiha. He couldn't really tell if he was sleeping but his eyes were closed so he must be right?

He laid there just watching Sasuke, waiting to see if maybe he would move. Twenty minutes went by, thirty minutes, an hour, hell even two hours. He had to of been sleeping by now, and Naruto still was not gotten a wink. The alcohol in his blood stream was definitely still there, occasionally he'd sip on the water that he was given so it wasn't as bad as it had been two hours prior. But sleep still wasn't happening, and he was very tired. 'You're going to regret not sleeping kit.' Finally a voice, any voice at this point didn't matter to Naruto, he didn't even care that it was Kuruma, at least it was someone. 'I can't sleep.' A loud sigh was echoing in the bellows of his ear drums, even though it was in his head it was just as loud as hearing it aloud. 'You're hopeless Uzumaki. Goodnight.' Well so much for that voice to talk too.

Another twenty minutes went by and he couldn't take it anymore, he either one needed a way to go to sleep, or two talk to someone because boredom was going to kill him otherwise. "Sasuke?" He whispered softly not wanting to spook the Uchiha with his eerie voice in the middle of the night, it was almost pushing three in the morning. When he got no response he pulled his lips in and gently nibbled on the bottom one before trying again. "Sasuke...are you awake?" Even though it was clear the raven was definitely asleep he had only hoped that maybe he wasn't. Unfortunately the truth was bound to be met with him, Sasuke was definitely asleep and Naruto couldn't find it in him to just rudely awaken him. At least not in a way that would upset him.

It took a lot for him to feel the confidence to do this but he managed with a deep breath, sitting up right before rubbing his eyes, hoping it would bring on the tiredness. He even tried to yawn just to trigger it but with no luck, leaving him no choice but to go through with what he thought he'd never do. Quietly he grabbed the blanket he was using and slid down off the couch, slowly and carefully easing himself down. Just as he accidentally touched the raven, his heart dropped and he swallowed harshly. He waited just a second to see if he would budge, but he got no response. Usually the older male would be quick to jump if he heard a pen drop in the room next door. However Naruto go no response from him, it must of been due to the alcohol.

With that being said he proceeded forward and lowered himself down beside the raven, with his arm being up behind his head still it left a very decent opening for him to get down and lay his head down onto the ravens chest and some of his shoulder, using him as a pillow. Simultaneously he managed to get the blanket overtop of them both.

As soon as the blondes head made contact with Sasuke's shoulder and his weight pressed against him, he started to shift and his eyes opened only partly, just enough to glance over at Naruto cuddling up to him. For just a second it did spook him but he wasn't against it, he was grateful to open his arms to him, and with just the little sleep he had, he started to feel less intoxicated. But drowsy enough to accept this fine offer
