The walk back to, just as Kiba said, the office was sluggish. Both males had far too much to drink and were basically using each other to lean on, though Sasuke was surely holding most of the weight. Due to the office being very close by it wasn't a far walk at all, which meant any conversation could've easily waited until then but Naruto felt it was fine to start it now. "Sa...suke?" His voice was low, very very low but definitely heard. "Hm?" The raven tipped his head to glance at the one holding onto him before just barely meeting his gaze. "What am I supposed to....do?"
Sasuke frowned, he felt bad because Naruto seemed too stuck, like a rock in a hard place. There wasn't anything the blonde really HAD to do but his morals were too strong to hide the things they had done from his wife, he knew the whole reason he said that earlier was because the guilt was getting to him, just as it did for the Uchiha outside the sub shop. Lost with words he pulled the blonde in closer, nudging their bodies together matching every step in synch. Which was a bit surprising considering they both were very intoxicated. But their steps were slower than usual.
"You can tell her what we did...when you're ready Dobe..." Even Sasuke's voice began to trail but his words only made the Hokage wince, his feet coming to a holt making the both of them stop. "W-What?" Naruto said, stammering with his one word he managed to say, making Sasuke look confused, their gaze met and he was certain he saw confusion in the blue eyes in return. "Is that not what you were going to tell her?" He had to question himself because he was certain that's what he meant. But Naruto showed him otherwise by stepping closer to the raven and grabbing the bottom of his shirt with one hand letting the other dangle. His ocean eyes lowering down to the cloth he was fidgeting with before humming his words softly. Yeah he was definitely drunk and barely coherent.
"I-...I was going to tell her that I-...I don't love her... that I-..." He hiccuped before looking back up to the one that was slightly taller than him. Meeting those shocked eyes before him. "That I love Uchiha...Sasuke." The raven froze, his legs felt like jello, it actually frightened him a bit because everything in him wanted to believe Naruto, he wanted to believe that those feelings were real and they both shared mutual affection, but it was more than likely an in the moment feeling. Naruto couldn't possibly know that, his thoughts and emotions was anything close to love, especially right now being this drunk. No way...right?
Naruto must have realized what he said because he pulled away from the raven as fast as he could, stepping back and nearly tripping on himself. "I-I'm so sorry!" He said loudly before covering his mouth, his face a blaze with red. 'Did I really just say that?' He thought to himself as he slammed his eyes shut.
Sasuke didn't know what to think, was it true? Did he really feel that way? Or was he right about Naruto being confused because of the alcohol? If he didn't mean it, he wouldn't have apologized for saying that, right? It was something he took extremely conflicting. "Dobe.." His voice was low as he stepped forward towards the blonde. "N-No I shouldn't have said that I-Um..." His eyes opened and caught glimpse of the Uchiha getting closer, his heart dropped, he started to feel nauseous and the world around him began to spin. 'Oh no.' His self awareness was able to tell he was getting ready to faint, but his body kept moving back. Step after step before he tripped on himself and stumbled back.
If it wasn't for Sasuke's quick reaction, the blonde would have surely fallen and hurt himself, instead he moved quickly and grabbed the Hokage's wrist, yanking him back to his feet and even further making him get no where near catching his balance and fell right into the ravens arms. "Tch...this is why you shouldn't drink." He said effortlessly while holding him close. It seemed Naruto had given in to the grasp as it would only be treacherous without the support, but he didn't respond, he decided silence was his best interest. "Hn." Sasuke could tell he wasn't going to say anything back so he took matters into his own hands, forcing him to get up on his back for the rest of the way. At first he stumbled a bit only because he himself wasn't sober either, but managed to get them both going.
