After a while, Zhehan and the girl cautiously stepped back inside and found Gong Jun sitting on the sofa, sipping water from a bottle. As he looked at Gong Jun, his smile held a mixture of tenderness but a tinge of sadness. He never anticipated that it would come to this, that he would ultimately have to say goodbye.

Deep within his heart, Zhehan experienced a whirlwind of conflicting emotions. Love, so strong and undeniable, intertwined with a sense of sorrow and resignation. The joy and happiness he had once felt seemed intertwined with the bittersweet knowledge that it was coming to an end.

Why did he have to experience love if it would only lead to such a painful parting? The question echoed in his mind, leaving him lost in a sea of emotions.

Zhehan couldn't help but feel moments they had shared. The memories danced in his mind is flowing vividly as a reminder of the love they had fought for and the precious times they had spent together.

In the depths of his soul, Zhehan found solace and strength in the love he felt for Gong Jun. It gave him the courage to cherish the moments they had, even knowing the pain that lay ahead.

With a heavy heart, Zhehan stood at the precipice of farewell, understanding that love wasn't always meant to be everlasting.

"So, Zhou Zi Shu is the one we used to play with when we were kids?" she asked. "I thought it was you! When did he migrate abroad?" she inquired.

"When we were 8 years old," Zhehan confirmed, hoping that Gong Jun would believe him, even if it meant lying to him one last time.

Ignoring the presence of the girl, Zhehan locked eyes with Gong Jun, silently assuring him and bidding him a melancholic goodbye. Gong Jun faintly smile to zhehan a hint of sadness was written on his face he look at the girl and discreetly signaled for the girl to leave.

""Can we walk together?" Gong Jun asked, catching Zhehan off guard. Despite his initial confusion, Zhehan chose to set aside his doubts and agreed to join Gong Jun for a walk.

As they walked, silence enveloped them, but it carried a weighty atmosphere, as if the air itself was filled with unspoken words, urging them to break the silence. Time seemed to stretch as the pressure to speak intensified, yet neither of them found the courage to start the conversation.

After what felt like an eternity, Gong Jun finally broke the silence, his eyes fixed on Zhehan with a seriousness that mirrored the depth of his curiosity and longing for answers. His words hung in the air, begging for a response.

"Do you love me?" Gong Jun asked, his voice filled with vulnerability.

"If you love me, then please don't leave me," he added, his plea tinged with desperation.

Zhehan stood there, stunned by Gong Jun's words. He was taken aback, unable to comprehend the depth of Gong Jun's emotions.

"You knew?" Zhehan asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

"I just found out," Gong Jun replied, his tone carrying a mix of sadness and understanding. The realization of Zhehan's true feelings had only recently dawned upon him.

"But why did you have to lie? Why did you go to such great lengths to deceive me?" Gong Jun's voice trembled with hurt and confusion.

"I-I had no choice!" Zhehan defended himself. "I had to uncover the truth behind Zhehan's incident, and during that process, I... I fell in love with you. A-and when you discovered the dare, I didn't know how to explain. I... I just made assumptions. I was so consumed by Zi Shu's persona that I lost sight of my true identity. I was utterly bewildered." Zhehan's voice wavered as he tried to express his emotions honestly.

Gong Jun let out a sigh, his disappointment evident in his voice. "If that's the case, did you really have to lie? Why did you choose to deceive me instead of telling me the truth? If you had, I would have willingly shared every detail of our story, every piece of it."

Zhehan lowered his head, avoiding Gong Jun's gaze as he replied, "If I were him, you would love me. If I were him, you would hold me dear, but only because I would be him."

Gong Jun's gaze never wavered as he looked at Zhehan with intensity. "Yes, I loved him in the past, but how can you be so certain that I won't love you in the future?" Gong Jun asked, his voice filled with sincerity and longing. "Do you really have to leave me?" he pleaded, his heart yearning for Zhehan to stay.

Zhehan's head remained lowered, lost in deep contemplation over Gong Jun's words. The memories they shared, the love they had experienced together, echoed within him, making the idea of leaving unbearable. With closed eyes, he whispered softly, "Do I truly need to leave him?"

"Who said you could leave, Zhehan? You can't leave," Gong Jun's voice echoed, filling the air and causing Zhehan to startle. Before Zhehan could respond or make sense of the situation, Gong Jun firmly took hold of his hand and pulled him into a tight embrace.

Zhehan stood there, completely taken aback by the sudden change of events. Everything was happening so fast he couldn't believe what was happening.
Gong Jun's voice carried a mixture of sadness and a subtle trace of anger as he spoke "Since you chose to lie, be with me for the rest of your life," Gong Jun his eyes reflecting sadness and the depths of his emotions.

"You will love me, and that love will be your redemption. Is that what you long to hear, Zhehan?" Gong Jun's voice resonated with determination. "Because no matter what happens, I will never let you go," he added, wrapping his arms tighter around Zhehan.

Zhehan, overwhelmed with emotions, smiled through his tears and gently patted Gong Jun's back, reciprocating the warmth of the embrace. Gradually, Gong Jun released his hold and locked eyes with Zhehan, his gaze filled with affection and understanding.

"Thank you, and I'm sorry," Zhehan whispered, his voice barely audible but brimming with sincerity.

Gong Jun shook his head, his tender smile never faltering as he reached up to delicately wipe away the tears streaming down Zhehan's cheeks. His touch was gentle, conveying both comfort and reassurance. Then, he spoke with heartfelt conviction.
