"I understand both of them. There's no winners here." Zayn sighed.

"An impossible situation." Liam agreed.

"Why? Leon can just ditch the kid." Alec Baldwin suggested.

"What? The child is innocent! The baby deserves a dad!" Harry argued upset and Louis put his hand on his and squeezed it.

"I agree with Harry." Louis said.

"I'm glad you're so invested in the script. Let's just finish it, okay?" Niall smiled.

116. INT. TALK SHOW- NIGHT

The boys on STAGE singing Love You Goodbye (see sheet music).

"There's no lyrics here." Louis pointed out.

"Yeah, I haven't written it yet. Can't find the right words." Niall said.

"Can I give it a go?" Louis asked.

"Absolutely!" Niall smiled.

They continued reading.

After the performance, they sit down in front of the HOST. The audience cheers. Mostly young girls in the audience.

HOST
That was a song from their new album. Welcome One Direction!

BARRY
Thanks for having us.

HOST
Now, I've been told that you have an announcement to make.

LIONEL
Yes, we've been touring nonstop now for five years and it has been amazing. We truly have the best fans. But, we're gonna go on a hiatus now."

The girls in the audience scream and start to cry.

LEON
I'm sorry. It's just six months. Promise.

CUT TO:

117. APARTMENT- NIGHT

BARRY and LEON getting ready for bed.

LEON
Can we talk?

BARRY
Now? It's late.

LEON
You're so distant nowadays. Are you not in love with me anymore?

BARRY
Wow, how can you even think that?

LEON (tearing up)
Can you blame me?

BARRY (sighs)
I love you but I have a hard time forgiving you for signing that contract. You changed everything without even asking me.

LEON
Because Simon was threatening to destroy you and I panicked!

BARRY
How do you think it makes me feel? You're in this situation because of me! You should hate me.

LEON

BARRY
Maybe... maybe that's not enough.

LEON (tearing up)

BARRY (tearing up as well)
