Buong araw akong iniiwasan ni Ella. She was with Oscar and Eric all the time, I was actually hurt by what she said. How can she say that to Jance?
"Hey.." Binisita ako ni Jance sa faculty kasi ayaw ko talagang lumabas. "Oscar told me what happened."
"It doesn't matter." I said and got up to hug him. "Hindi ko maintindihan bakit siya ganon, hindi niya ako sinusuportahan."
"Maybe Estella just wants to protect you." He defended her name but I just didn't feel like talking about it.
"Can we have lunch na lang? Ayokong pag-usapan."
Lumabas kami at nakita namin na papasok na sina Ella sa faculty kaya natigil kaming lima. I looked down as Jance held my hand.
"Excuse." Jance said then pulled me outside.
I looked back and saw Ella watching us but she just went inside the faculty. Nasaktan ako because we were acting like little kids. I knew Primo was also hurting kasi hindi siya sanay na nag-aaway kami ni Ella.
Ilang araw ang lumipas na hindi kami nag uusap, she was basically hanging out with other teachers pero I always had Jance with me. One time he wasn't present dahil may family emergency daw sila so I had no one. Jake was always guiding me and telling me na pinapabantayan daw ako ni Jance.
"Thanks pero ayos lang talaga ako. Go ka na." I said.
Umalis si Jake kaya nakagawa ako ng mga requirements ko.
"Achoo!" Medyo napalakas ang pag-bahing ko kaya nilingon ako ng mga teachers na nasa faculty.
I was covering my nose with the back of my palm nung may pulang liquid na tumulo sa desk ko. I was looking for a napkin to cover it up. Tumakbo ako sa cr para maibsan ang nangyayari sa ilong ko ngayon. I was cleaning up when Ella came out of a cubicle and saw me. Marami pang dugo ang tumutulo sa ilong ko.
She stood beside me and told me to stand straight kaya sinunod ko siya.
"Pumunta ka na sa clinic, ako na ang bahala sa next class mo." She said so I nodded.
Binigyan ako ng nurse ng yelo to spread on my nose bridge.
"Dala lang po iyan ng init, Ma'am." She said kaya tumango ako.
"Uuwi po ba ako?" I asked.
"Depende po sa inyo, nahihilo po ba kayo?" She asked kaya tumango ako. "Mabuti pong umuwi muna kayo."
"Okay po."
Lumabas ako at dumiretso sa principal. I explained to him my situation and he said na it would be best if I went home kaya I packed up and left.
Of course nalaman ni Jance kaya he messaged me if I needed anything para daw makabili siya but I just told him na I was fine. I just needed to rest para maging maayos na ako ulit.
"I feel so weak, baka lagnatin na naman ako jusko."
Nagluto lang ako ng something na may sabaw at uminom ng paracetamol for my headache. Jance sent some care packages for me and I appreciated them so much.
