I went for a quick swim bago kami tuluyang umalis ng family ko. Kasama ko ang mga pinsan kong lalake and they were asking about Jance.

"Umuwi na po siya kaninang umaga."

I got out the pool and went to my room. Naligo ako at nag ready na kasi paalis na kami. Pinatambay ko muna ang family ko sa room before we officially left. I took a few photos to post on my ig and posted a photo of me leaning on Jance's shoulder pero hindi ko pinakita ang mukha niya.

We were on the road when they asked me if I had mentioned Gary to Jance.

"Yep, ayaw ko sana but it was already out there. Ayaw ko siyang nag-iisip so I just told him the truth."

But I never told him that Gary was the reason I didn't make a move on him for the past 3 years. That and he had Hyacinth back then.

Nakauwi na rin kami sa wakas and I can finally go to sleep. Kinaumagahan ay naka uniform lang ako, ayaw ko sana kaso policy eh. Masyado pang mainit sa pinas.

"Good morning, Lalaina." Ashley said. "Sino yung nasa instagram post mo? Boyfriend?"

Sakto namang kakarating lang ni Jance when Ash asked that.

"No, manliligaw." I answered then glanced at Jance who was fixing his things.

"Wow, who is it?" Tanong ng isa pang teacher.

"Oo nga, bakit parang wala kang kinukwento?" Oscar asked.

"Ayaw niyang pinaguusapan siya without him knowing." I answered. "Besides, hindi naman mahalaga sa inyo kung sino siya. Basta tanggap at mahal niya ako."

"Sabihan mo kami kapag niloko ka, igaganti ka namin. Diba, Jance?" Oscar said kaya nilingon namin si Jance.

"Mhm." He mumbled then walked towards me. "Let's have lunch together mamaya."

I nodded and before he left he kissed my forehead again kaya nakita ko ang reaction ng colleagues namin. Jance was walking to the door when he spoke.

"Huwag niyo akong pag-uusapan, just like Laina said."

"SI JANCE!?" They all yelled when Jance closed the door.

Pumasok si Ella at nakita ang reaksyon ng mga katrabaho namin.

"Anong nangyari?" She asked Oscar but he also couldn't talk. "Babe, what's happening to you?"

"Mas mabuti kung si Lalaina ang magsabi sa'yo." Oscar told Ella.

"Lala what's going on?" Ella asked kaya I asked to meet her outside.

"Nililigawan na ako ni Jance." I said kaya natigil siya.

"Are you serious?" She asked, she was reacting like it was a bad thing. "Lala, nakalimutan mo na ba ang ginawa sa'yo ni Gary? And how could you not tell me!?"

"I didn't think I needed to-." I was cut off.

"You need to tell me these things, akala ko ba hindi tayo nagtatago sa isa't-isa?"

"Why are you acting like hindi mo ako tinutulak kay Jance noon?"

"That was because you were single and he was single! Inaasar ko lang kayo but I didn't think na aabot talaga sa ganito."

"Like this is any different from you and Oscar?" I argued back. "Ella, why are you mad? Wala naman kaming ginagawa ni Jance para mag react ka like that!"

"It's the fact that you didn't tell me."

"I'm not obligated to report to you what happens in my relationship, just like how you never told me anything about Oscar courting you."

"What me and my boyfriend have is different, Lala!"

"How!?" I yelled back. "Paano naging iba ang kung anong meron kayo ni Oscar sa amin ni Jance?"

"Lala, I saw how hurt you were with Gary. You almost didn't graduate because of him, ayokong maapektuhan ka ulit."

"Ella that was years ago. Wala na si Gary wala na akong rason para bumagsak!"

"And you think Jance is any different?" She scoffed then looked away. "Intayin mo lang na magkamali si Jance, Lala. You will cry yourself back to me and you will say I was right."

"Ella ayaw kong magalit sa'yo but this is going too far. Hindi ako lolokohin ni Jance."

"Ngayon mo yan sinasabi but you just wait, Lala. Kilala ko ang mga lalakeng iyan." She said then walked away.
