I woke up early to get the day started. It was 12AM kaya I was really rushing.

She asked while watching me. "Iiwan mo rin ako?"

Natigil ako at tinignan siya. All her life she never stopped me from following my dreams, ngayong aalis ako ay alam kong masakit para sa kaniya ito.

"Alam mo naman na ginawa ko ang lahat para manatili dito. I considered everything but my only reason pushed me away." I answered kaya naluha siya.

"I know but.. aalis na ang kapatid ko." Estella said then started bawling her eyes. "I want to be happy for you but I just can't, knowing na if you and Jance were still a thing you wouldn't have to leave."

"Ella, kahit nasaang parte ako ng mundo you will always be my star." She smiled and nodded. "Try lang, kapag nagustuhan ko doon then we will call all the time but I promise that I will come back home."

"Sige na nga." She said. "Baka ma-late ka pa, gora na."

I loaded my car and drove her to her house, Oscar was already outside waiting for her. Before she got out ay tinuro niya ang habit ni Oscar.

"Kapag uuwi ako ng umaga ay lagi siyang may nakahanda na warm milk para makatulog ulit ako."

Oscar took care of her when I couldn't kaya kampante ako na iwan siya dito sa asawa niya.

"Bantayan niyo siya for me, okay?" I said.

"We will." Oscar answered while helping Estella out the car. "Ingat ka palagi, Lalaina. We love you so much lalo na si bossing ko."

I drove off after two beeps then arrived just in time. I had my cousin take my car home since she had just arrived. I boarded the plane and opened my phone, hoping that he messaged me.

Wala..

Baka natutulog pa siya.

It was a very long flight and I felt really tired when I got off the plane.

Ate Frances said and helped me with my stuff. "Nasa bahay ang asawa at anak ko pero uuwi kami mamayang gabi."

They also needed someone to be with Tita since she was getting really week.

"Lalai, may nabanggit si Tita Odessa na hindi mo raw sana tatanggapin a week before your flight." Ate Ces opened the topic. "I'm disappointed but I'm glad you changed your mind."

"I had no reason to stay there anyways." I said, trying to lighten my mood.

"But.."

I looked at Ate while she was driving. She knew exactly what was going on.

"But my only reason pushed me away." I said then silence filled the car.

Napag-usapan namin ni Ate Ces si Jance and how much I missed him. Magbabalikan na nga sana kami, I was already willing to take him back if only I didn't see him and Hyacinth. Yun lang naman yung rason kung bakit hindi ko tinuloy eh, kaya Estella and Primo were so disappointed in him because they knew.

Even after he explained it felt like it won't work anymore. It was either by that time or never at all.

We arrived at Tita's house and I unpacked my stuff. Ate told me everything to know in Manchester and how to use transportation here.

Tatlong buwan na ako dito and I've grown to love it, humahaba na rin ang buhok ko and I had no intention on cutting it. I feel like I needed to move on kaya I changed a lot about my appearance. My hair, the way I do my make up and some clothes but I still stay like me.

"Okay kids, since it's your finals week, free time."

I had no other tasks for them to do. Honestly, nahirapan ako sa adjustments. The education system here is very different from the philippines.

I had my 28th birthday here. 8 months na ako dito and I am starting to get home sick.

"May bumabagabag ba sa'yo, Lalaina?" Ate Ces asked.

"It feels so wrong. Pakiramdam ko hindi ako dapat andito, I don't know what's going on." I confessed.

"Lalai, may humihila ba sa'yo para umuwi sa pinas?" She asked while Jiara braided my long hair. "I mean, someone?"

I took a few deep breaths before answering.

"If someone was pulling me to come home, he shouldn't have pushed me away." I said.

"Lalai, I think it's time that you don't grow dependent on his feelings but know your own." She said. "I know that you just divert the situation to him but deep inside you're pulling yourself home."

"Ridiculous. I love it here!"

She held my hand while smiling softly at me.

"Love it here or not, when you know that deep in your heart someone is still knocking then you should go home."

"I can't leave just like that."

"But you already did that to him." She said. "I know nanghihinayang ka sa mga ginawa namin para sa'yo but we won't stop you for following your heart."

I had to think about it very carefully. I can't run around making impulsive decisions anyway.
