A New Beginning

Attack

Garen and I both rush to the police station. Once we both enter we see Julie, Opal, Christian,Claire and Andrew standing together as the police interviews Christian.

Christian turned his head and seen me. His face turned eager as he got up and went towards me ans Garen.

The policemen then went up to me the same time.

'Agent Garen Ag-' I stopped the police officer before he said Agent Rosaline.

'Excuse me police officer but can I talk to you privately?' Policemen Trevor nodded Garen and I both walk into Trevors office.

'Officer Trevor. Pardon me but these people, my friends they don't know I work for the C.I.A. Although Andrew knows but the rest of them don't and I would like to keep it that way.' I said looking back at my friends.

'Alright I understand Rosaline.' Trevor said as I let out a small sigh.

'Thank you I appreciated it. Anyhow what happened with Christian. I've seen that he was attacked. There are bruises on his face and arms.' I said looking back to Officer Trevor.

'He says that after school he walked home and that he heard some foot steps behind him for most of the way. Then he said that he ran and the footsteps ran with him. Christian said that the man was wearing a black ski mask sobhe couldn't see his face and the man started to beat him.'

'He was chased. So then how did Christian escape and come here?' I asked.

'He didn't a police office was driving until he seen Christian om the floor. The best part of everything is that the man that attacked Christian gave Christian a request.' Officer Trevor said making my eyes shoot to Garen.

'Which is.' Garen said before i could even use my words.

' The man told Christian to deliver a message to Agent Rosaline. He said that, 'I am coming for you and this time you won't be alive . I'm finishing you off for sure.' I almost told your friends that you are working for the C.I.A' Trevor said making me feel chills on my body.

'That man that attacked Christian was the man that murdered ny family 6 months ago.' I said almlst breaking a tear.

'I'm sorry for your loss.' Trevor said apologizing.

'Its ok I'm going to my friends.' I said exiting Trevors office.

I walked straight towards my friends knowing I might be asked alot of questions.

I walked in front of them and hugged everyone, kissing Andrew.

'Rosaline why did the man attack me and ask to deliver a message for you.' Christian asked and I knew I had to answer this one question.

'That man that attacked you he killed my family 6 months ago. He thought he killed me but he didn't I was just unconscious.' I said looking down at my hands.

'I'm so sorry.' Claire, Opal, and Christian said wide eyed and hugging me.

'Its alright. ' I said as I let go.

'I asked the officers to keep an eye on each one of you guys just in case.' I said looking at each one of them.

Each one of them nodded but Andrew walked toward me and pulling me into his arms. I melted in his embrace.

'Are you a cop?' Christian asked.

'No. I'm not.' I said nervously. Anyhow I'll ask these police officers to take you home indivually.' I said taking Andrew and Garen with me as I asked a couple of officers to take my friends home and watch them.

Each one of them said yes and left to take each one of them home and to watch them as I requested.

Garen, Andrew and I excused ourselves from the police station. We then both go to the Agency. Andrew stood with me holding my hand as we searched for Oss in the agency.

We explained to Oss what was going on with the man that killed my parents and as he is chasing my friends.

'Keep it on the down low. Just be prepared for a big fight and please take care and watch everyone.' Oss said then Andrew said that he will be back as I went to Garens office.

I walked with Garen into his office. As I turned away frim Garen and seen Andrew talking to Oss both of them shaking their heads. Andrew kept talking to Oss as Oss was very concentrated, she shook Andrews hand and smiled.

This small gesture made me wonder what was going on between them. I turned back around to Garen and heard Andrews footsteps behind me.

'Sorry I took so long I went to the restroom and got lost.' Andrew said kissing my forhead. By this time I was angry that Andrew would lie to me.
