A New Beginning

"So what did you want to talk about?" Rosaline said looking at me. I walked over and stood next to Rosaline too nervous to even talk.

'Today I was terrified of losing you. Today I thought I wasn't going to see you ever again and I hated myself and Garen at the moment. For the past few months it's been an amazing time with you and of course I don't ever want to leave your side. Today I wanted to scream over agony because I knew you were hurt but I never got to say how I truly feel. Because I thought you were going to leave me and this earth before I even got to explain myself to you.' I said as her eyes looking into mine I took a deep breath and continued.

'I think you're the beautiful, strong, thoughtful girl I know. You're so strong because you keep fighting no matter what. Everytime I sleep over and I find you in my arms, it's the best feeling I ever had because I want you to be mine. I want to hold you every morning, kiss you every night, treat you like a queen you deserve to be, and make you smile and make you feel safe. What I'm trying to say is that I love you so much that I would give the entire world for you if I could. Your my best friend and I'm glad to say that I'm in love with you.' I said caressing her cheek in my palm.

Her eyes wide and her breathing calm. She grabbed onto my collar and pulled me down toward her.

She whispered, 'I love You Too.'

My eyes were wide, my smile was from ear to ear and my heart dancing wildly. I grabbed onto the side of her face and kissed her. My lips were perfectly schronized with hers as I caressed her face with my thumb.

We separated to breathe as we leaned our foreheads to one another. She looked in my eyes and kissed my lips one more time.

I hugged her putting my face in her neck and giving her small kisses against her neck making her giggle.

Then my mom and dad walked in as I held Rosaline's hand into mine. My mom and dad looked at our intertwined hands and smilled.

"Finally you two are together." My mom said making me choke.

'Oh come on you two. Everyone knew that you two would be boyfriend and girlfriend someday. I mean you two always looked at one another with admiration.' My mom said smiling at me and Rosaline as she leaned into my father's side.

Then the doctors came in with a small clipboard.

'Alright you could be released now. Everything seems to be fine.' One of the doctors said.

'Ok may I get my clothes?' Rosaline said as the doctors gave her back her clothes.

She took her clothes and walked into the restroom. Minutes later she came out of the restroom with her uniform. She had her bulletproof vest in the plastic bag and walked out of the room with me at her side hugging her small frame to mine.

'Garen could you please take this to my office I will be back to work tomorrow.' She said handing him her bulletproof vest.

'No you're not you're taking a week off.' Oss said making Rosaline groan but stay quiet.

Rosaline then gave Oss and Garen a hug.

'Thank you guys for having my back.' She said smiling.

'No thank you Rosaline.' Garen said hugging her back.

We left the hospital and drove back to my house. Along the drive I pulled Rosaline against me as I intertwined my fingers with her and giving her small kisses on her face making her chuckle.

As we arrived my house I told her to take a shower if she'd like as i gave her some of my clothes for her to change in.

Even if it was already 12 at night she cuddled with me in my bed. I was truly grateful to have her. I turned her face around and started to kiss her passionately. Her lips reciprocated with mine as she put passion into my lips.

My hands caressed her face and played with her hair until she fell asleep. As I seen those beautiful eyes close I kissed her forehead Goodnight and pulled her into my arms as I held onto her for the whole night.
