A/N: All rights go to Stephenie Meyer, I'm just a fan using my imagination and adding a twist to 'Twilight'

Silence.
Nothing but silence.

It had only been a couple of hours since the strange package of books had arrived but we sat and read them all. I couldn't help it, after Twilight I had to know what happened so we continued reading until we finished the last book.

To say we were all shocked was an understatement. Everyone's thoughts were jumbled with the same things, everyone was in shock, confused but most of all happy. If these books were true then I would find my mate in a human, marry her and despite vampires not being able to, have a beautiful daughter with her.

A small smile escaped my lips at the thought of Renesmee. She wasn't even here yet but yet I loved her already and longed for the day when Bella would give birth to her. At the thought of Bella, my smile grew. She sounded amazing and I can't wait to meet her. I didn't even care if she was a human, I knew how that would play out and my heart longed for her already. My fingers twitched at the thought, I knew she was out there and I wanted to go to her and make her mine forever. I loved her already and we haven't even met.

Carlisle was the first to speak, he cleared his throat and smiled. "Well it looks like our lives are about to change"

His thoughts showed nothing but pure happiness for me. He was happy I'd finally find my mate and he was even happy about the thought of having a granddaughter running around the house.

"I can't wait," Alice squealed and I'm pretty sure Jasper was restraining her, "I'm going to have a new best friend and sister! Oh and a niece! Is it too early to start buying baby clothes?"

I chuckled at her excitement. "Yes, Alice, it is. I've not even met Bella yet"

I liked how her name rolled off my tongue. It sounded natural.

Bella. My Bella.

She pouted. "You will soon though so the sooner I start buying the better!"

"Alice calm down. We don't even know if these books are true," Rosalie stated, she wished they were true though I could see from her thoughts. But she only wanted them to be true because of Renesmee. I growled, my daughter will not become some sort of toy to her to fill the gap of not being able to have children of her own.

It's amazing how protective I felt over them both already.

We all sat in silence then. Sadly, Rosalie was right. We had no idea if the books were true or if Bella even existed. My heart dropped at the thought. No. She had to exist. The note clearly said it was the truth and since we had no other evidence stating otherwise, there was no reason not to believe it.

"The only way we're going to know if it's true is if we move to Forks," Esme said, breaking the silence. My eyes snapped to hers. "If the books are true then Bella lives in Forks so we should move there and see if she's there. The note clearly said that Bella will receive the books so hopefully she will know about us and save us all that trouble that went off in the first book"

My fist clenched at her words. There was no way in hell I would let James or Victoria near my Bella. I knew they would lose but I'm not taking any chances this time around, if the note was correct then Bella would have gotten the books so hopefully she will be on the same side as me. There's many things I want to change, and not meeting them was the first one. My Bella deserved nothing but peace.

'Dude calm down or you're going to have to buy Esme a couch.' Jasper thought and sent calming waves my way. I smiled in thanks and unclenched my fist.

"I'll go make a few phone calls." Carlisle said kissing Esme's cheek before dashing upstairs. I could tell by his thoughts he was going to get a job at the local hospital.

"I'll go start packing! Ooo this is exciting!" Alice gushed and grabbed Rosalie's hand before heading upstairs. I could hear them muttering about decorating the house we have over there and making more room.

"Why would we need more roo-oh! Never mind" Emmett started to ask before he realised we'd need more room for Bella and Renesmee.

'You're finally gonna become a man Eddie boy! It's about time!' Emmett jokingly thought at me and I growled and threw a cushion at his face. I smiled in satisfaction when it hit him dead on.

Esme ignored our confrontation. "Jasper maybe it's best if you hunt more so what happened on Bella's birthday doesn't occur. Speaking of which," she looked at me and glared, "don't you even think about leaving her Edward! I don't care if you both get back together I'm not prepared to lose both of my babies!"

The fact Esme already thought Bella as her daughter made my dead heart swell. In her thoughts her family would finally be complete and just like Carlisle, she was over the moon for me.

"I won't don't worry Esme. I don't think I'd have it in me, even now all I want to do is go to her and never let her go" I reassured her and it was the truth. I would never leave her. We are meant to be together.

Esme smiled. "I know son. You'll be able to do so soon," she came over and gave me a hug, "I'm so happy for you Edward. It's about time you had some happiness"

"Thank you"

She smiled and pecked my cheek before heading upstairs towards Carlisle who was already off the phone after securing a job at the hospital. They were thrilled when they found out that Carlisle wanted to work there, they haven't had a decent doctor in years. I could hear the computer loading up and I knew they were checking the next available flight to Seattle.

That made me nervous. What if Bella wasn't there? Or she was and hasn't read the books yet? If that was the case then I'd wait for her, no matter how long it took. I've waited over one hundred years for her, I can wait a little bit longer.

I decided to go make a head start on packing my room. I didn't take much notice of what I was packing but I made sure all my favourite books and CDs were packed, along with my mother's ring. I smiled when I opened it and pictured it on Bella's hand where it would stay for forever. My mother would be proud to have someone like Bella wear it, she always told me to place the ring on someone's finger when I was sure she was the one. And Bella was the one for me. There was no doubt about it.

A few hours later, we had all packed what we needed, the dust sheets were over the furniture, our distant family were told that we're leaving and we were already to go. Our flight was in a few hours, it cost more for the tickets but as Carlisle pointed out we had more money than what we needed and when it came to happiness, price was nothing.

I sat in agitation waiting for the time to come so we could set off. My heart longed to see Bella and I was only a few hours away from doing that.

I'm coming my love.
