" I'm not fucking apologizing to him! " Izuku yelled, furrowing his eyebrows as he glared at Katsuki.
" See? I told you, " Mr. Nezu scoffed, shaking his head.
" It takes a second, he'll apologize. Trust me," Katsuki responded, emphasizing the ' trust me '. Katsuki looked Izuku in the eyes, causing Izuku to shift slightly in the chair.
" Izuku, when I tell you to apologize, you do it, you hear me?"
" But he doesn't fucking-"
"Language."
" He doesn't deserve an apology! " Principal Nezu raised an eyebrow, glancing between Katsuki and Izuku.
" Yet he watches his language," Principal Nezu muttered, leaning on his desk.
" Izuku, apologize right this fucking instant, and I just might let you off with a warning," Katsuki whispered to Izuku, his voice quiet enough so Principal Nezu couldn't overhear. Izuku sucked his teeth before looking at Principal Nezu .
" Sorry, " He grumbled, rolling his eyes. Nezu looked confused and shocked, he didn't expect Izuku to comply. Katsuki nodded slightly but didn't look satisfied.
" Again, " He said, tapping the chair's armrest.
" I'm sorry for acting up, Principal Nezu , " Izuku mumbled in response, now turning his attention to the floor. " Fine then, you won't get suspended yet. But if you act up once more, you bet your ass you are." Principal Nezu walked to his chair and sat down before dismissing Izuku and Katsuki out of the room.
As they were walking down the hallway, Katsuki spoke. " What a good job you did apologizing."
" Excuse me? " Izuku looked over at Katsuki, confused at the sudden praise. Katsuki chuckled softly before meeting Izuku's gaze.
" You've been getting better at doing what I ask."
" No,"
" Keep telling yourself that, Izu . "
There it was again, that nickname that seemed to have appeared out of nowhere.
" What's up with that? " Izuku asked, now looking forward.
" With what? "
" The stupid nickname," Katsuki paused, putting his hands in his pockets. " You want me to stop calling you that? "
" I didn't say that... " Izuku muttered. For some reason, he liked it when Katsuki called him that, even though he told himself it was a dumb nickname.
" Is that so? " Katsuki grinned before putting an arm around Izuku's shoulders, pulling him in. Izuku grunted, grabbing Katsuki's arm but not trying to remove it.
" We're still in school you know? If someone sees you walking with me- "
" Let them see then. Or are you shy? " Katsuki teased, Izuku loosening his grip on Katsuki's arm slightly before letting go.
" I'm not, " Izuku muttered, putting his head down as they continued walking.
" Head up then, " Izuku didn't hesitate in the slightest, he put his head up as soon as Katsuki asked him to.
" See? So obedient," Katsuki mumbled under his breath.
" Huh? "
" Nothing, don't worry about it," Katsuki responded, laughing slightly.
The end of the day rolled around which meant two things. One of which was that Izuku got to go home, while the second thing was way less fun. Since Katsuki had brought Izuku to school, that also meant that Katsuki was going to have to take Izuku home. Unless Izuku got a ride from someone else.
Izuku sat outside of the school, his back against the wall. He pulled his phone out and found Shoto's contact before calling him.
" Hello? "
" Yeah, can you take me home, Shoto? "
" Why? You have a car. "
" Just take me home, okay? "
" Fine, where are you? "
" Front of the school, thanks."
Izuku hung up the phone, watching people leave the school. All was well until Katsuki walked through the doors, glancing down at Izuku and walking to stand in front of him.
" My friend is taking me home, don't bother asking," Izuku said, avoiding eye contact. Katsuki crouched down in front of him, getting eye level. " Oh really now? " Katsuki cocked his head to the side, waiting for a response. " Yeah, you can go. I'd rather him not see me talking to you," Izuku responded, rolling his eyes and wanting to be done with the conversation. Katsuki paused for a moment before looking at Izuku. " I'm not sure what happened, but I don't like that tone of yours," Katsuki stated, unamused. Izuku scoffed, turning his head to stare Katsuki in the eyes.
" I'm just tired of this shitty... " His voice trailed off but he quickly regained composure. " Of this annoying school, " He finished, glancing down at his hands.
" Good correction," Katsuki muttered, nodding his head slightly. Katsuki then stood up, brushing himself off before walking away. He stopped and looked over his shoulder at Izuku before saying one last thing.
" Get home safe, you know what to do if you need anything. " Katsuki then winked before continuing his walk to his car.
It took about ten minutes for Shoto to pull around with his car. It wasn't as fancy as Katsuki's, it was just a black Nissan Altima with a black interior. Izuku pushed himself up off the ground, walking to the car and getting in. It was a mess, garbage was everywhere in the backseat, but it was always like that, Izuku had just learned to get used to it.
" So why don't you have your car? " Shoto asked as he drove, turning the music up loud.
" I got a ride, " Izuku responded, annoyed with how loud the music was. Shoto just nodded, tapping his hand against the center console to the music.
After a long drive of Izuku's eardrums bursting, Shoto pulled the car into the apartment driveway, unlocked the car doors, and turned the music higher. Izuku got out, yanking his bag from the car, and heading inside the building. Once he got inside, he immediately went to his room. " Today was so fucking shitty, Camie almost got me suspended, that little bitch." He thought to himself, finishing his nightly routine of taking a shower, brushing his teeth, getting changed, and getting into bed. Usually, Izuku blow-dries his hair after a shower because the wet hair against his neck annoyed him, but tonight he was far too pissed off and too tired to do anything else but sleep. This time, he set an alarm so he wouldn't have a repeat of what happened this morning. Even though Izuku thought he didn't like Katsuki picking him up and driving him to school, it was also enjoyable to see how many suits the man owned.
