This is not really a slow burn story, but I can drag it along from time to time if you want. As a review I would say: They start off as friends,then they turn to enemies and then there is a huge time skip to when they are adults and end up working side by side, I won't spoil it too much so find out more when you start reading. This is before the war in Potter's first year. Professor Quirel and y/n shall be working together in the DADA department, there are two of you since defense against the dark arts is a very tricky subject and with the upcoming war only Severus and Dumblewhore are aware of they need two people to teach.
