The intercom crackles and comes alive and everyone's eyes turn upwards even though we can literally not see anything.

A subtle crash is heard followed by some swearing.
" Is that Mike?" Charlotte snorts
" Definitely " Sylvia replies
" Everyone should be present in the main hall by 2pm for a general and important announcement" CEO Montez announces and the intercom goes dead
" Well what do you know?" Zeke exclaims
" We're all getting a raise or something?" Dana wonders
" No way in hell, that chauvinistic bastard will rather jump off this building " I spit
" You've been rather hostile towards him lately " Ciara comments giving me a sly look over.
" Is it because of Charlotte?" Dana whispers
" Hell no, h-he's just an annoying cunt"
" Woah princessa below 18 here" he shakes his head at me and covers Estella's ears
" Get off me you bloody animal" Estella reprimands him and we laugh.
She doesn't use swear words like ever
By 5 minutes to the stipulated time I and the others stand in the big ass main hall waiting for our mighty CEO. I planned to come by 2:30 or something but Estella had pulled me into the damn room.
"He's like 15 minutes late" Andrè murmurs
" We should get a huge banner like default card and display it in the air" Sylvia suggests
" We should also get someone else to fill in your space in the office don't you think?" Ciara teases with an annoying smile
"Shut up Owens" She sneers and pulls out her phone
"Sorry guys I hope you didn't wait long" Mike apologizes as he walks onto the stage with Cameron closely behind him, his eyes on his phone.
"Sure he's gonna re-recruit someone to do his apologies " I mutter in contempt
"Chill sistah" Dana places a hand on my shoulder and rubs
