In the Coffee Shop
Abhi was sitting on a chair with crossed legs and headphone on. He was mumuring a song.
Abhi (in zoobi doobi tone): Tantan tantan. Tandan tandan tandana tana tanada. Papa Papapapa
Vaish came there and sat on one chair, keeping her purse on another chair. Abhi removed the headphones seeing her and kept his hand below his head.
Vaish: Shi! Charging ka unit bhi band hai.
She said taking her mobile while keeping one napkin on table.
Abhi (lecturing/taunting): Mobile ab jarurat na rehke ek vyasan (addiction) ho gaya hai.
Vaish (removing phone's battery): Hmh! Kisne kiya ye statement?
Abhi (tossing the key): Maine.
Vaish blowed air in the battery and started scratching it on the napkin harshly. Abhi saw it.
Abhi: Tumhara exactly problem kya hai bataogi?
Vaish (still focused on scratching): Mai shadi ke liyedakda dekhne aayi hu.
Abhi laughed hearing it. Vaish looked at him.
Vaish (burrowing eyebrows): Hasne jaisa kya hua? Hu?
Abhi's smile dropped.
Vaish: Shadike liye kya sirf ladke hi ladki dekh sakte hai? Ladki ladka dekh nahi sakti?
Abhi (duh tone): Aaj kal ki ladkiya shadi chodke baki sab ke liye ladka dekhti hai isliye pucha.
Vaish looked at him and he laughed. She too smiled.
Abhi (sitting properly): Anyways, ladka pasand aaya?
Vaish: Bataya na, mila nahi.
Abhi nodded while playing with his key.
Vaish: Shejari (Neighbours) mile. Vo bhi rude.
She said looking at Abhi who stopped playing with the key. Vaish again focused on her work.
Abhi: Tension kya hai?
Vaish : Us ladke ka no. mere cell me hai and cell ki battery down hai.
She said actioning her phone at down.
Abhi (shocked): Kay sangtes? No path nahi?
Vaish nodded in no.
Vaish: Isiliye mujhe sham tak yaha rukna padega.
Abhi (while laughing): Haha nakar deneko (to reject)
Vaish looked at him startled.
Vaish (raising her eyebrow): Tujhe kaise pata chala?
Abhi (crossing his legs): Maine thodi der pehle tumhari baat suni, phone pe. Haha.
Vaish angrily pointed at him.
Vaish: Tu meri baatein chupke sun raha tha?
Abhi: Chupke? Chupke sunne ki jarurat hi kya? Tu abhi bhi itni tejise bol rahi ho ki Parvati pe khada manus bhi teri baat sun le. Mai kisliye chupke sunu?
Waiter came at their table to take the order.
Waiter: How can I help you?
Abhi (joshme): Ha. Ek kaam kijiye, 1 Cold coffee with ice cream. Aur corn and spinach Sandwich laiye aur beech me cheese dalna.
Vaish who was about to order, stopped and rested her back on the chair and folded her hands near chest.
Abhi (continued): Aur dono side se grill karo. Ha?
