"Hey look, this ordeal thing wasn't my idea so don't throw me a guilt trip like that nagging little harpy, okay?" Yusuke began. "And as for Keiko, how am I supposed to know?! It's clear she had any sense she'd want me gone."

"She wants you back." Botan reminded him.

"You think so?" Yusuke snorted. He contorted his face into what he apparently believed was an accurate impression of Keiko and went on,

"She always looks at me like this. 'Hey Yusuke, come to school! Hey Yusuke, that's not the right uniform! Hey Yusuke, treat your sister better damn it!' Yeah, she wants me around so she can yell at me and get a better reputation with her teachers."

His little game complete, Yusuke sighed and crossed his arms. "It was bad enough from my sister; I don't need that crap from Keiko too."

"Why do you say things you don't mean?" Botan asked. "You know she only scolds you because she actually cares about you, same with your sister."

Botan leaned closer to Sayaka and said, "Sayaka, I learned not to listen to him most of the time, he is just embarrassed is all. He's got the cutest crush on Keiko!"

Sayaka's eyes dilated, but Yusuke's temper erupted as he got in Botan's face.

"BOTAN, WHY DON'T YOU NAIL YOUR MOUTH SHUT!?"

"Why don't YOU get over your stupid cuties and admit that you like her, Yusuke?!" Botan shot back.

While they yelled at each other, Sayaka's attention darted to Keiko again.

"The nature of this relationship between Yusuke and Keiko doesn't seem clear. I'll have to investigate it further."

"NO, YOU-!" She flew away, and Yusuke made to follow.

"DAMN BRAT! GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE, YOU HEAR ME!"

"Well, this should be interesting." With that, Botan began to follow the two in the direction of Sarayashiki Junior High.

Miyuki turned a new page in her book and then picked up her chopsticks to start eating from her bento box–

~CLANK~

Miyuki looked at her hand with a hiss. Her fingers were shaking, not to mention ached at the slightest movement. Despite the healing from days ago, the memory of the distress and pain still lingered in her muscles.

I'm so over this... Taking a deep breath, Miyuki let her head drop back onto the wall.

I should have never agreed to anything...
