"mchot" alex whispers to george and meredith glares at him
"hello, you must be the new interns" addison says scanning the intern as her eyes land on meredith "you can call me dr.grey, im a neonatal surgeon" she says
"dr.grey?" the three oblivious interns say turning to meredith except cristina who saw this coming
even bailey was surprised
"okay, stevens and karev you're with burke, o'malley you're with shepherd, yang the pit" bailey says and cristina rolls her eyes "don't even start with me yang" she says not looking up from her charts
cristina quickly closes her mouth as the interns are still shocked not knowing whether addison was a relative or her wife
"are y'all gonna stand here all day?" bailey looks up which makes the interns leave
meredith was the only one left standing there with her two bosses
addison moves to stand next to meredith smiling at her
"if i catch you two fooling around or not doing your job..i swear i'll kill you both" bailey says
"..but im your boss" addison says
"i do not give a damn dr.montgomery-grey" bailey says
"o..okay" addison nods
"how did you know we were married and not related" meredith asks
"why else would you be smiling like an idiot, you have a patient to see so this chit chat is not going to help that patient" bailey says pointing at them
they both walk to the NICU unit
"are you okay with your friends knowing?" addison asks
"yeah i'm okay why would i be ashamed of everyone knowing my hot wife?" meredith asks taking the files the nurse handed her
"you are too sweet" addison says ruffling her hair as they walk into the patients room "grey present" she says closing the door behind them
"Lana Nickerson, 27 years old, 7 months pregnant with twins and dr.yang confirmed some bruises on her abdomen, and arms" meredith says
"alright, mrs.nickerson nice to meet you, i'm dr.montgomery-grey and this is dr.grey, we'll be checking up on you until you are in labor" addison says
"nice to meet you, are you guys married?" she asks
"yeah" meredith nods
"oh everyone must hate you" lana chuckles
"oh they will" addison smiles looking at her files along with meredith "are you okay with me examining you?" she then asks
"yeah" lana says
addison examines her and notices how many bruises there were and how bad they were
