I sat down in a chair, beads of sweat dripping down my forehead. Where are you, Jungwon? Not once did he answer my calls, my texts, my voice messages. My anxiety swallowed me whole as my leg worriedly bobbed up and down. I should have been asleep, Jungwon holding me, and me dreaming about who knows what. But no, instead I lay awake, stressed and confused. He didn't even alert me about his absence. Was he clueless or was he trying to annoy the fuck out of me?

Blinking back tears, I reached for my phone to call Jungwon one last time. Ring, ring, ring. "Hello?" I know that voice! But...it's not Jungwon's. "Jake?" Jake cleared his throat and sighed. "I know wives tend to be extra clingy at that's fine, I have one of my own, but not now, girl. Jungwon's about to beat Heeseung's high-score in League of Legends." He was playing video games? "Tell him to pack his shit and get his ass home." "But-" "Jake. Don't play with me. I am not in the mood." I hung up.

-----------------------------------------

The doorbell rung and the knob twisted. "Jake? Where's Jungwon?" Jungwon shoved past Jake and death glared me. "I can't even have one minute to myself." I ignored him. "Thanks, Jake, I owe you one. I'll take this big baby off your hands." As soon as Jake closed the door, I turned to Jungwon. "Trust me, Jungwon, you can have multiple minutes to yourself when I'm aware of your whereabouts.

Jungwon's face was red from anger. "You see, this is so annoying. You think that just because I decided to marry you, you can act like my mother!" My brows raised. "Your mother? No, Jungwon. You think that just because I decided to marry you, you can act as if you're my bratty seven year old son." He sat down with a big huff.  "I'm an adult, mind you. I can do whatever the fuck I want." He grimaced at his own words. "Babe, I'm tired, let's just go to bed." I wiped my eyes and made my way over to the kitchen. "I'm staying here. Good night."

Jungwon's eyes narrowed at me. "What? Are you a child? Don't act immature. Let's go." I was acting immature? Says the one who could've spent all those precious hours studying or working on League of Legends--he knows just how to make a girl swoon. "I'm not acting like a child. I just think I would prefer to sleep alone. Even if that means sleeping on the couch." I poured myself a glass of wine and leaned my elbows against the counter. "Like I said, good night."

Jungwon rolled his eyes and sat down on the couch. "I'm not sleeping alone. You know I need to cuddle." "You've gone many years with out it before we met. You'll do just fine." He stood up and slowly walked towards me. "Babe, let's not get mad at each other, okay? Let's go to the bedroom." I shook my head. "Unless you're going to apologise, my answer stands." He hates apologising. I scoffed, knowing that he wouldn't say anything, he's always- "You're right. I was childish. I should have been more considerate of how you would feel and shouldn't have stressed you out. It was immature and completely unfair. Please consider forgiving me. Even though I don't deserve it..."

He looked to the ground in shame, sniffling and breathing unevenly. I sighed a deep sigh and walked towards him. "Baby, it's okay, I forgive y- aah!" What the fuck? He picked me up bridal style, staring down at me slyly. "One more thing--I'm sorry that I'm gonna paralyse your legs."

-----------------------------------------

"Jungwon! Oh!~" He kissed me deeply, holding me tightly. Our tongues danced against each other as our skin collided. "I-Ah!" Jungwon gripped my hair firmly in his hand. He suddenly lifted me up over his shoulders. "Whyyy??? I was so close!" He rubbed my thigh reassuringly. "You said you wanted to sleep on the couch. Let's go. I needed a change of scenery anyways."
