Unfair interruptions

Middle of the night

It was decided you would all stay one night just to avoid the hassle of late night driving especially with a 7 month old baby.

The rooms were the tricky part, now there was enough for all of you to have your own separate room and either you or Toji with Megumi, but Toji being sly and cunning enough, he managed to get you to share the bed with him and Megumi in the same room, just to 'keep an eye' on the boy.

After an hour or two, everyone's in bed

You glanced at the clock, noticing the late hour. The soft glow of the bedside lamp illuminated the cozy bedroom, casting a warm ambiance. You nestled closer to Toji, relishing the rare moment of tranquility after a hectic moment of caring for Megumi. He made quite a mess but in the end he's just a baby.

Toji's hand traced delicate patterns along your arm as you lay together, savoring the quiet intimacy. But your peaceful evening was short-lived as a sudden cry pierced the silence, breaking the spell.

"Toji, I think Megumi needs us," you whispered, reluctantly pulling away from Toji's embrace.

Toji sighed, his expression a mix of resignation and affection. "I'll go check on him," he offered, rolling out of bed and padding across the room to Megumi.

You watched him go, a soft smile playing on your lips. Megumi had a knack for disrupting your moments alone with Toji, but you couldn't help but adore him all the same. As Toji returned with the fussing baby in his arms, you reached out to take Megumi into your embrace.

"There, there, baby" you cooed, rocking him gently. "What's the matter, hmm?"

Toji hovered nearby, his protective instincts kicking in as he observed the tender scene before him. Despite the interruptions, he couldn't deny the love that filled his heart, a love that centered around his precious son.

Just as you began to settle Megumi back to sleep, the door knocked, startling you both, and nearly waking Megumi.

You glanced at Toji in confusion. "Who do you think it is?"

Toji shrugged, a hint of annoyance flickering across his features. "I'll go check," he muttered.

As Toji returned, you could sense his frustration radiating off of him.

"It's both of them" Toji explained, his tone clipped. "They wanted to see you."

Your heart sank at the mention of the two men. You just know, your time with Toji won't be as you pleased it would be.

"I'm sorry, Toji," you murmured, reaching out to grasp his hand. "I know what we all have going on is abit.. much"

Toji squeezed your hand gently, his gaze softening. "It's okay, Y/n" he reassured you with a slight smile.

"Y/n, are you hereeee?" Satoru's voice called out, followed by the unmistakable sound of Suguru's laughter.

You groaned inwardly, frustration bubbling to the surface as you realized your hopes for a night of intimacy had been dashed. It seemed as though fate conspired against you, determined to keep you apart from the man you wanted at this moment.

Toji's expression darkened as he glanced towards the two, irritation flashing in his eyes. "What do you want now?" he muttered, reluctantly pulling away from you to answer the unwelcome intrusion even though it wasn't directed at him.

You watched him talk, a mixture of disappointment and resentment swirling within you. It wasn't fair that every time you tried to steal a moment alone with Toji, someone or something would come along to spoil the mood.

Satoru and Suguru barged into the room, their expressions a curious blend of mischief and envy. You felt a pang of annoyance at their intrusion, knowing full well that they had no respect for boundaries when it came to your relationship with Toji.

"Sorry to interrupt the parents" Satoru quipped, his grin widening as he took in the scene before him.

Suguru chuckled, nudging Toji playfully. "Didn't mean to crash the party, but we couldn't resist paying you a visit," he added, his tone dripping with sarcasm.

Toji's jaw clenched, his patience wearing thin as he struggled to maintain his composure. "What do you want, you two? It's late," he replied tersely, his irritation evident in his voice.

Satoru shrugged nonchalantly, unfazed by Toji's hostility. "Just wanted to see how you two lovebirds were doing," he replied, his tone dripping with insincerity.

"Guysss, what are you doing can't you leave?" you pleaded, your voice tinged with desperation.

Toji's gaze softened as he turned to face you, his expression filled with regret.

Satoru and Suguru both sigh and look at each other and then you, it's unfair for them to interrupt what you want with Toji, it's been said before, none of you are official so they can't complain. But they can feel, right?
They soon leave the room, apologising quickly and secretly to you.

Toji returned to your side, his arms encircling you in a comforting embrace. He takes the sleeping boy and puts his back in the cradle nearby, then walks back to you.

You leaned into his touch, finding solace in the warmth of his embrace. "They just don't understand," you whispered, your voice barely above a whisper, chuckling slightly.

As Toji held you close, you couldn't help but wonder when you would ever get the chance to be alone together, free from the baby cries and the meddling interference of others.

Maybe this wasn't a good idea after all..
