You and Caity would meet glances but didn't really have all that much to say to one another before moving on from the restaurant to go to a nxie beaching house that Caity was renting for a vacation. You eventually broke away with Alexandra and noted how awkward everything was but she promised she was going to give you two the time you needed. You spent the next few hours having drinks and just conversing about the state of the industry and the upcoming Met Gala that Alexandra, Kaitlin, and some of your favorites, would be attending, yourself included for the first time though just as part of the charity arm.

When Alexandra grabbed Caity and headed off for a bit you were a bit perturbed but Kyle, her husband, assured you he knew about everything and why you guys were here. You apologized for the awkwardness but he said he was secure with their relationship and your past, and knew the business well enough to not be surprised. He eventual followed Alexandra who asked him to come along for a "quick run" and she winked at you as Kyle happily obliged and gave Caity a kiss before both left you and Caity alone.

You didn't say much at first, but Caity let it rip the moment she took a drink from her newly poured glass. How she felt pushed aside for Kaitlin, Selena and some of the others. How the idea of having a kid with her never ever seemed to come up, how she always seemed to put her foot in it outside of the business and you never once came to offer her the same level of support as others. You pushed back but ultimately, you knew she wasn't wrong. When she finally began to sob after asking why your history before the harem even began never came into your decisions, your realized the depth of your mistakes and could only offer to hug her, which she allowed though not without hitting you repeatedly, and hard, in the chest with closed fists as she asked why she wasn't good enough.
