You had begun rising along for an arena tour as your new artist had hit it with her new single and was doing opening acts for Ariana Grande, one or your father's last prominent signings before his illness and death. She was a gorgeous little five foot spit fire and had made all of the decisions that pushed her into super stardom. You always signed off on whatever she wanted, she knew the pulse and she knew it well. You weren't a fan of her public relationships and how they worked out but it didn't seem to really derail her any, and the music she put out resulting from them only helped elevate her career.

You knew she had a thing for you, not in a serious way, but in a way that you were sure she knew all the rumors and was getting frustrated that you hadn't made any moves on her.
