To say Elora was sheltered was an understatement but she wasn't isolated from the world, her mother is protective over her and wish for her to keep her childlike innocence.

When someone bumped into his strong figure Killian was about to pull his gun out and shot them but stop as his black heart started to beat for once seeing a little girl with glassy doe eyes that radiant innocence looking up at him.
