Melaya Targaryen was only 1 when her mother Aemma died, she was very confused why she never saw her mother again and why her father cradled her crying and repeatedly saying " don't leave me like your mother" .
Melaya grew up very kind hearted and warm and many traits that her mother had, she was very soft spoken and beautiful and got the name as the realms Joy because of her presence brought immediate smile and joy to people.
It was no secret she was the kings favourite, well she was everyone favourite and had everyone fight for her attention especially her older sister and step mother who saw her as her own and favourite child.
