Chapter Eighteen: My King (M)

"Welcome my Lords, My lady."

"Your Majesty"

We all replied.

"I have sad tidings that Catherine of Aagron has passed away."

I looked at Henry in shock and felt a tear or two left my eyes but kept a sob from leaving because she was a great woman who not matter our past I did admire her.
I quickly wipe away the tears then saw others looking at me with sadness, especially my sons.

"A certain person has been urging me on to commit certain acts that I would never had done before and to what I have been doing against Catherine and Lady Adelaide. You lords all know me well and knows of my affection for Lady Adelaide but also what my parents did with regards to my childern by Lady Adelaide.
I wish for you Charles to investigate Queen Anne in secrecy for anything of witch craft and any possible affairs from the rumors that have been going around.
I also wish for the guards to be increased around all my childern with Lady Adelaide as you know they are the heirs to the throne."

"What of Princess Elizabeth, your Majesty, She is but an innocent in all this. I wish for the child to not be judged by her mothers deeds but by her own actions when she is older."

I said imploringly at Henry, his eyes soften at me but nodded at me letting out a breath of relief.

"If proven true then I will ask you to take the burden of raising Elizabeth."

"I accept your Majesty, she is of your blood and I would see her raised among her siblings."

What i did not noticed was the soft eyes of all in the room and solidified their view as a fair and just woman who would protect childern even her husbands other childern.
William and Edward looked at their mother with pride, she taught them all they knew and protected them all their lives, for them it was time their mother and father got their happy ending.
They would not allow that bitch Anne to get in the way any more.
William was now more secure then ever with three childern, all boys. His beloved wife was everything he ever needed and loved his mother as much as he did his wife, she was there for ever birth and made sure all was well.
As he grew he found out how loved his mother is by all those of Europe.
Edward also had three childern and another on the way, his wife Catherine also loved his mother, she told him that she was happy with their life and wanted a large family which he was happy to give her. His mother made sure she would visit often and their youngest daughter who was born a year ago was named Adelaide after her grandmother.
The men knew they would do what they could to put Adelaide on the throne, Henry just looked at his Addy with so much love that she would take in Elizabeth with little to no thought and he loved her even more for it.

"I will allow you Lady Adelaide to arrange Catherines funeral at the church closest to her."

"I shall see it done, my king. May I send the other a letter to inform her."

"Yes, you may."

Henry said with sadness which made me bow my head in submission because I would show them that I would defer to the kings options when he was present, which pleased Henry and the lords present but my sons smirked a little at me.

"Remember to all of you, observe those that follow the Boleyns and save any evidence if possible. William i will have you stay at court for the time being and Edward i know your wife gave birth only six months ago, your wife's can join you but for now the childern should stay home were their safety."

He said with seriousness making everyone frown but nodded because no one would put it past Boleyns to try something on the grandchildren of the king.

"I do not......under any circumstances want anything to happen to my family. If I start to act strange again, protect them."

"We swear, your Majesty."

I looked at Henry with concern because I was really worried about him but he brought my hand to his mouth and kissed him with adoration.

"Please be safe."

I said with my voice cracking slightly but I held it at bay while looking at him with love and devotion that I held for him.
With that I knew Henry wanted to talk to them all in private, so I bid them all fair well and went to find Odette and Catherine.

Henry watched with obsession and love as his Addy left the room then looked at his lords and sons.

"I want this done soon my lords, I wish to marry the Lady Adelaide as it should of always been, not with this....Anne. I wish for you to protect her as I am worried that I am not enough. William Alden-Tudor is my heir and you will show him your allegiances.
His eldest son Henry shall take my sons  place when the time comes, you are charged to protect your heir and his mother who will be your true queen."

"We shall, your Majesty."

William got up and walked towards his father then took a knee.

"I shall do all that I can to be worthy of the responsibility of this office you place on me father. I will protect our family even from that witch and any who think they can bring the Tudor family to an end."

Henry put his hand on his sons head with pride showing on his face then Edward got up and knelt by his brother swearing the same thing and Henry put his other hand on his head.

"You both make me proud, protect your mother, siblings and your families."

"We will also protect the country."

They said at the same time and Henry could not help but smile at his boys knowing they would be great men.
Henry made his sons stand up then the other lords got up and knelt to Henry and his sons with reverence before swearing allegiance.
Charles could not help but smile at this, he could finally start moving to remove Anne and put Addy were she belonged on the throne of England.
