Dick had walked back into the tower after getting Jason down, Aria was giving him a disappointed look as the others were still angry from all the fighting. Dick let out a deep breath before deciding to tell them what Aria had heard him say.

"I lied to you guys because I was afraid you'd leave this place and me, if that happened, there would be no Titans and I lied to you, too, I told you that Jericho was dead when I got to the church, but he wasn't. He was alive and he died trying to save me from his father. I'm sorry, you all deserved more," Dick admitted in a soft tone

"Lying sack of shit!" Hank shouted before Dawn grabbed him

"How many other fucking half-truths have you told us?" Donna asked in anger

"At least you got a half-truth, my brother's dead because of you so I'm out," Rose stated before Jason nodded

"I'm going with her, you don't decide what I do anymore or what anybody does," Jason stated before they left

"I'm out, too," Donna stated as she stood up

"I'm going with Donna, I can't stay here," Rachel stated before they walked out

"You're leaving now?" Aria questioned the last ones left

"I got a loose end to take care of but it least it's out now, the truth and I'm sure they'll get over it soon," Kory spoke before walking out

"They just need time," Aria comforted the man

"And you?" Dick asked making her sigh

"I'm not Conner or you, I am mad that you lied to us but not enough to abandon you," Aria stated before heading to her room

Within the next week, Conner had woken up and nobody was answering their phone. Aria was growing worried about Dick but she knew that he needed some time to himself as well. She was making dinner when Gar and Conner walked into the kitchen making her look up.

"So we pretty much have the entire place to ourselves, uh, until the others get back, that is, which should be soon," Gar explained to the man

"How did I get here?" Conner asked in confusion

"Wait, you don't remember anything?" Aria asked with concern

"Just little bits and pieces, I remember feeling really sick and hearing a lot of voices, and then it was like I was on fire, is Eve here?" Conner questioned some more

"She was and she helped you get better, it was her and Kory and Rachel," Gar spoke in a soft tone

"What is this place?" Conner asked looking around

"Titans Tower, I guess that might sound a little weird with no context. The Titans are a group of people like you, Heroes, you're Superman's son, right?" Gar questioned causing him to nod

"And Lex Luthor's," Conner spoke before Aria scoffed

"Yeah, well, no one's perfect but you saved our friend, Jason Todd, he was falling from a building, and you caught him," Aria explained to the man

"And then I got shot," Conner called out making them nod

"But then the Titans saved you and they brought you back here," Gar explained looking at him

"That's what we do, we all have powers and special abilities and we choose to help people," Aria added in support

"Eve said it's okay for me to help people, I remember that," Conner explained in a soft tone

"Look, the important thing is you're awake now, which is good because I was on the verge of losing my mind but give me one minute, there's someone I got to call," Gar spoke before walking out

"You know, Superman is my brother which makes me your aunt basically," Aria spoke to the man

"I didn't think I would be able to meet any of my family," Conner admitted in a soft tone

"Look, I can tell that you are worried about the Lex part of you so here's some advice, our destinies aren't written in stone, we make our own and we can choose to be good no matter where we come from," Aria spoke in a soft tone

"I can choose to be a hero," Conner mumbled as she nodded

"Yeah, you can," Aria agreed before he sighed

"Do you ever look back at all that you lost and question if it was worth it?" Conner asked making her pause

"Sometimes but I like to think of moral doubting as a part of the job," Aria admitted in response

Conner just nodded as he started to think, Aria smiled before going back to cooking and once dinner was done and they had eaten, she decided to call Dick one more time before going to bed. She didn't get a response and she was growing more worried about the man who she thought of as a best friend.
