Ryan pov

"Lilly?" I whisper looking at Lilly in front of me. Her head down low, I frown hearing the small girl sniffle in front of me.

Looking down at the floor.

Blood.

Blood on the floor, I look back up at Lilly, her hand is bleeding.

Quickly picking her up in my arms I kick the door closed.

Going to the bath down by the hallway. I turn on the light and put Lilly on the sink.

"Hey hey! It's ok, nothing we can't fix up." I say cupping her cheeks that are pink and wet from crying.

Softly letting her go. I bend down opening a dralw and grabbing the medical kit.

Closing the door, I put the medical kit on the sink opening it.

Getting small twizzlers and getting her soft small hand in my I look at her.

"Darling, this might hurt a little bet." I say, she looks at me sniffling. Her chin wobbling.

"I scared." She says cutly but sadly, and it shatters my heart.

"I know, but if we can get this done it be ok, and I'll get you candy." I say trying to bribe her.

She looks at me. "Can I get gummy worms?" She ask.

I nod smiling, planting a kiss on her forehead.

After wrapping a white cloth over her hand I smile.

"All done, darling." I say as Lilly looks at her hand.

"What happened?" I ask her, she looks at me.

"I fell on broken glass." She says looking down.

Sighing I look at her.

"Wanna go get your gummy worms now?" I ask her, she nods smiling as I chulcke.

Picking her up and trying to put her down. Keyword; trying.

I then realize her legs wrapped around my tereso, they're preventing her from letting her stand.

"Ok I'll carry you." I say as she giggles.

I then leave the bathroom before turning off the light.

Leaving the house before locking it, I walk us both to the convenience store a few blocks away from my house.

About ten minutes later of walking I arrive at the store.

Going through the door, the bell rings showing that they're customers.

Putting Lilly down she walks towards the isle with me following behind her.

I watch as she get's a small bag of gummy worms.

She grabs my hand and we walk to the cash register.

"Hello, have you found things alright?" A elderly woman ask us smiling.

"Yes." I say smiling as Lilly puts the bag down so she can scan it.

"You two seem cute." She says wiggling her eye brows.

My eyes widen. "Oh we're just friends." I say.

The lady laughs. "That's how it always starts out." She says scanning it.

"$1.13." She says. I put out a dollar and thirteen cents.

She hands us a plastic bag inside the bag are gummy bears.

Smiling she says. "Have a nice day dears."

"You too." Lilly says giggling.

Walking back home to mine Lilly breaks the silence.

"C - can I stay at yours, we have no school tomorrow." She ask.

"Sure." I say.

"You can sleep in on my bed, I'll make a small bed on the floor for me." I say as she nods.

Arriving home we go to my room.

Closing the door and walking towards my closet I pull out a plan white tee- shirt and a pair of shorts.

"Here, change into these." I say handing them to her.

"Thank you Ry." She says getting them from my hold.

"Ry?" I ask at the nickname.

She looks at me. "Mhm." She nods humming.

"I like it." I say smirking as she blushes.

"Just change here. I'll go into the closet." I say.

Going into my closet I close the door waiting for her to change.

A few minutes later the door opens, looking down I look at big doe eyes.

"I finished." Lilly says.

Stepping out, I get a extra bed sheet and blanket.

Folding the bed sheet I lay it down on the floor then grab a extra pillow laying it on the floor.

"I'm going to turn off the lights, is that ok?" I ask.

"Mhm." Lilly says laying down on the bed.

My tee- shirt is huge on her, it looks like she's not wearing any shorts, and the shirt ends at her knees.

Turning off the lights I then lay down.

Theirs a silence, a bit of uncomfortable silence.

"Ry?"

"Yes darling." I answer.

"C - can you check under the bed?"

I chuckle, I don't tease her I just get up.

"Sure darling." Going over to the bed I get on my kness and cheak.

"Nothing's under there." I say getting up, she looks at me.

"What about the closet." She says, her head gessterus to the closet.

Going towards the closet I open it and look inside.

"Nothing, darling." I assure her as I close it and go to her.

She signs frowing.

Looking at my bed I then realize, her bed is filled with teddy bears.

"Do you want me to sleep with you?" I questioned hesitatenly.

Looking at me she speaks. "P- please."

Going to the other side I lay down besides her.

"Go to bed, darling." I say as she nods coming closer to me and wraps a hug around me. I do the same.

"Night night."

"Good night, darling."
