Chapter 9: Lazy Saturday

As the lazy Saturday in the U.A. High School dormitory unfolded, Izuku and Momo decided to get changed into comfortable clothes around 9 am. Little did they know that a simple wardrobe change would lead to an unexpected turn of events.

"Izuku, I might have left my dorm key in Recovery Girl's office on Friday," Momo confessed, her expression filled with realization.

Izuku, understanding the situation, suggested, "We'll figure something out, Momo. Maybe we can check with Recovery Girl or the dorm staff to see if they have a spare key. In the meantime, you can borrow some of my clothes."

Grateful for the solution, Momo agreed. They made their way to Izuku's room, and he began searching through his closet for suitable clothes for Momo.

"Here," he said, handing her a pile of clothes. "You can wear these until we sort out the key situation."

As Momo sifted through the clothes, she noticed Izuku's hesitation. "Is something wrong, Izuku?"

He scratched the back of his head awkwardly. "Uh, well, I included some underwear in there. I hope that's okay."

Momo, understanding the necessity, smiled. "Thank you, Izuku. I appreciate your help.

Returning to the common area, Momo felt a sense of coziness that went beyond just the clothing. The borrowed clothes carried a subtle warmth, a connection between friends that went beyond words. Izuku, noticing Momo in his attire, couldn't help but smile at the sight.

Kirishima, ever observant, pointed out, "Hey, Yaoyorozu, stealing Midoriya's fashion, huh?"

As the Titanic's poignant scenes played out on the screen during the lazy Saturday movie marathon, Izuku and Momo found themselves sharing a quiet moment, with Izuku gently spooning Momo on the couch. The room was filled with the soft glow of the television, blankets scattered around, and the hushed reactions of their classmates.

However, this time, Class 1-A was more attentive. The dramatic atmosphere of the film had captured their focus, and as the camera panned over the ship's deck, a few glances shifted from the screen to the couch.

Kirishima, nudging Kaminari, whispered, "Hey, look at Midoriya and Yaoyorozu. They're doing the same thing as this morning!"

Kaminari, catching on, smirked. "Are they reenacting the entire day or something?"

The realization spread among the group, and soon enough, the subtle whispers grew into more noticeable remarks. Mina couldn't help but giggle, while Sero raised an eyebrow, clearly amused.

Izuku and Momo, caught in the unintended spotlight, felt a wave of embarrassment wash over them. Despite having shared a similar moment earlier in the day, the sudden attention made this instance feel entirely different.

Momo, trying to diffuse the situation with humor, muttered to Izuku, "Seems like our couch has become the center of attention."

Izuku, blushing slightly, chuckled nervously. "Yeah, I didn't think we'd end up with an audience this time."

As the lazy Saturday movie marathon progressed, Class 1-A continued their journey through various films. The cozy atmosphere of the common area, blankets strewn about, and the gentle glow of the television created a perfect setting for relaxation.

Izuku and Momo, having been caught in an unintentional spotlight earlier, decided to make the most of the comfortable ambiance. As the next film began, the duo found themselves nestled on the couch, surrounded by the warmth of shared blankets.

The steady rhythm of the movie, coupled with the fatigue from the day's activities, lulled them into a state of drowsiness. Slowly, but surely, Izuku and Momo succumbed to the inviting comfort of the couch, their eyes growing heavy.

Unbeknownst to the rest of Class 1-A, who were still engrossed in the film, Izuku and Momo gradually shifted from a state of semi-awareness to a peaceful slumber. Their heads found a resting place against the soft cushions, and the gentle rise and fall of their breaths synchronized in harmony with the on-screen drama.

The classmates, eventually realizing the shift in dynamics, couldn't help but notice the serene scene that had unfolded on the couch. Kirishima, nudging Kaminari again, whispered, "Look at Midoriya and Yaoyorozu. I think they fell asleep!"

Kaminari, trying not to laugh, nodded. "Guess the lazy Saturday got to them."

The realization spread, and the room embraced the unexpected tranquility of the moment. The movie played on, the soundtrack filling the air with soothing melodies, as Izuku and Momo slumbered peacefully on the couch.

The lazy Saturday had taken its toll on the two friends, transforming their shared moments into a serene tableau amid the continued film marathon. As the credits rolled for yet another movie, the room hushed in appreciation of the unexpected harmony that had unfolded on the couch.
