DAISY'S EYES opened at the sound of grovers voice. she had fallen asleep listening to annabeth's rambling, her head leaning on the girls shoulder for comfort. looking in front of her she locked eyes with percy who had seemingly just woken up too. she quietly squealed and looked at annabeth
"does that help?" grover asked, he seemed to pop open something on the roof of the truck
annabeth sighed, "guess we're about to find out." twisting the prism in her hand she looked at the wall. "can you see where we are?"
grover popped his head out of the truck roof, seconds later his head came back and he nodded "we're almost there"
percy stood up, scrambling to sit next to the girls. at least he only did it to sit next to daisy.
because an aphrodite blessed miracle had happened, percy realized his feelings the second he had turned back from gold at waterworld.
annabeth looked up from the prism, handing it over to daisy who looked at her confused. "you're in the middle, its easier to get a signal" she shrugged
daisy nodded along, still in a daze from waking up. twisting the prism carefully and slowly it finally shined onto the wall "there. i got a signal"
annabeth and percy stared at the wall, daisy looked expectedly at percy who gave her a blank look. she nudged him "toss it, seaweed brain"
he tossed the coin, "okay. this will never stop being weird"
"if you want the gods' attention, you have to pay for it" annabeth shrugged
daisy nodded with her favorite girls' words. "iris, goddess of the rainbow, please accept this offering" the light shined orange, iris had accepted and daisy smiled brightly. "please, show me camp half-blood. chirons office"
"luke?" percy leaned closer
"girls? percy! are you okay?" the reflection of luke turned around
"chiron's holding camp together with both hands. everyone thinks we're going to war, so the cabins are taking sides. please tell me you're calling with good news"
percy looked at daisy, who nodded toward the wall. "we know who stole the bolt"
"how do you know?" luke asked, leaning back
"we ran in to ares, grover and anna got him talking and realized ares knew who the theif was but was covering for them." daisy explained, luke nodded along
