Chapter 15

"Bhai... Aap thik ho?"
(Bro.. are you okay?)

Vivaan heard Veer from the door.

"Woh.. bhabi ke baare mein.. mujhe aapko kuch batana hai.."
(Actually I need to tell you something about my Sister in law)

"Bolo.."
(Spit)

"Woh... Bhabi... Shaadi se pehle...."
(Actually... Bhabi... Before the wedding....)

Vivaan cut him off..

"Was in love with someone else?"

Vivaan said...

"Aap jaante the?"
(You knew?)

Vivaan turned around and showed him the diary.
Veer sighed...

"Yaar Bhai.. aap.. aap iss shaadi ko seriously mat lo! This was just a forced thing! Nothing else.. it's like unke family ne unko aapke upar thop diya! Aur kuch nahi! Aap choro unko! Unhone bataya kyu nahi? Unko batana chahiye tha na pehle? Woh aapse acche se behave nahi kar rhi.. isme aapki galti kahi pe hai hi nahi unki galti hai!"
(Broo.... You.. you.. just don't take this marriage seriously! This was just a forced thing! Nothing else... It's like.. they just gifted you with responsibilities... You leave her! Why didn't she tell you? She should have told you before the wedding? She doesn't behave nicely with you there's no fault of yours in it.. it's completely her fault!)

Veer said hugging Vivaan. While Vivaan just parted from him.

"Ek baat bata.. achanak yeh kya ho gya tujhe? Tu pagal ho Gaya hai kya?"
(Tell me one thing.. what happened to you suddenly? Are you mad or what?)

"Lekin bhai---"
(But bro---)

"Veer... Past sabka hota hai! Uska bhi hai! Dukh bhari dastaan.. uss wajah se hum uska future toh barbaad nahi kar sakte na? Dekh Veer... Woh abhi bhi uss shocked state mein hai.. woh move on nahi ho paayi hai dhang se.. jiss lagan se woh Ahaan ko chahti thi na.. woh pyar woh jazbaat... Sab kuch dikh rha iss diary mein.. uss pyar ko jab aise Cheena jaay na.. bohot dukh hoti hai! Woh sahi se apna gham bhi nahi mana paayi aur uski shaadi ho gyi... Aur shaadi ki hai.  Aise hi toh nahi chor sakte na? Aur Rahi baat batane ki toh... Humari pehli mulakat hi Hui engagement ke din... Aur tu hi bata... Ek stranger se milke achanak tu jaake sab kuch apne past ke baare mein toh nahi bata sakta na?"
(Veer... Everyone has a past! Even she has it.. A sad past...but because of it.. we can't ruin her future right? Look veer.. she is still in her shocked state... She has not been able to move on from it yet... With the determination she liked Ahaan, that love.. those emotions... everything is visible in this diary... And when that love gets snatched away... It hurts a lot... She didn't even accept her grief properly and she got married... And we are talking about marriages... Which can't be left just like that... And the thing about sharing.. we met the first time on our engagement day.. who goes and rants on their past to a stranger just like that?)

Veer nodded...

"Aap sahi keh rhe ho bhaiya.. lekin abh aap kya karoge?"
(You're right bro.. but what will you do now?)

Vivaan wiped his tears and turned around with a smile.

"Woh abhi ruthi hui hai mujhse... Main usko ruthne ki aur bhi zyada wajah dunga!"
(She's mad at me now... I'll give her even more reasons to be mad at me!)

"Hain? Kyu?"
(Hain? Why?)

"Ruthegi.. jhagra karegi.. kam se kam uss wajah se baat toh karegi mujhse!"
(She will be mad... Then she will fight.. atleast with that reason.. she will talk to me!)

He winked at Veer while he facepalmed himself looking at his brother's stupidity.

"Kanha ji aapke saath rahe.. baaki aur kuch nahi keh sakta main aapki buddhi par.."
(May lord Krishna stay always by your side.. I can't say anything more to your marvelous intelligence!)

Vivaan smiled.

"Kanha ki leela.. aprampaar!"

As the sun rose.. Vivaan was still sleepy because he had been awak all night thinking about Vritika. He was sleeping audible when he heard beats of a loud music.

"Koi iss awaz ko band karoooo mujhe sonaaa haiiii!!!"
(Somebody please stopp the music... I wanna sleep!!!!)

He closed his ears with the pillow.
Veer came and snatched the pillow making him fume in anger.

"Bhabi ko lene jaana hai aapko!! Yaad nahi??? Chalooo!!!"
(You need to go to bring bhabi back!! Don't you remember?? Gooooo!!!!)

Vivaan sat on his bed.

"Yaar abhi toh time hai!"
(Hey.. there's still time!!)

"Zara ghari pe apni Nazar toh dalo!"
(Just look at your watch once!)

Vivaan looked at the watch and only 1 hour was left to strike 12 o clock.

"Shittt!! Main itna late????"
(Shittt!!! I am soo latteeee!!!)

"Hmm.. unknowingly ek aur wajah de diya unko ruthne ka!"
(Hmm.. gave another reason to her to get mad unknowingly!)

Veer laughed at it while Vivaan was rushing into wearing his clothes.
He rushed out of the room

"Arreee khanaa toh khaake jaaiye!"
(Heyy!! Have some food atleast!)

"Raaste mein khaa lunga!"
(Will eat on the way!)

This was all Veer could hear from Vivaan.

"I just hope.. waha jaake kuch problem na ho!"
(I just hope..nothing serious happens there!)

On the way Vivaan was thinking how his in laws might feel about his behaviour.

"Aaj toh solid gussa honge sab log.. sab toh yehi bolenge.. shaadi ko do din bhi nahi hua aur pati abhi se itna frustrated behave kar rha?"
(Today everyone will be so mad at me! Everyone will say.. Not even two days have passed since the marriage and the husband is already behaving so frustrated?)

"Pata nahi Vritika ko kya kya sunna parh rha hoga!"
(Don't know what she'll be hearing behalf of me!)

"Shayad mujhe usse sorry bol Dena chahiye jaa ke hi!"
( Maybe I should ask for forgiveness as we meet!)

"Nahi ek second! Aise hi toh jhagra shuru hoga! Main kyu itna soch rha hu? Toh chaliye jhagra shuru karte hai!"
(No one second! The fight will be started like this only! Why am I thinking so much? Let's begin the war!)

He smirked at his own thoughts!
