Yugi shook his head and gave a calm smile, pleased that even a pharaoh had the courage to give a slight stutter
"It is quite alright, I understand. I myself have been mistaken for you multiple times, if I were in your position I would have done the same." He explained and turned to walk away. He heard Atem run to catch up and the two walked to the village. Laughing at the stories they told on the way, Yugi loved the way Atem spoke of his life in the palace. So carefree when he was allowed to be. Yugi almost didn't notice his home coming into view.
They arrived at Yugi's home and went in. Yugi knew Atem would apprehensive, since it wasn't his own home and after several reassurances about coming in, Atem agreed. As soon as Yugi was inside the door he was squashed into a bear hug 'by Heba most likely' Yugi concluded, as his Grandpa probably wouldn't have been able to give such a hug,
"Heba.... can't...... breathe." Yugi gasped out and Heba immediately let him go,
"Sorry Yug' you were just gone for a while so.. I got excited." Heba said, rubbing the back of his neck, Yugi saw his eyes trail behind him and see Atem,
"Hey Yug' who's your friend?" He asked, Yugi looked at Atem and wasn't quite sure what to say. Should he make up and alias, or could he trust heba to keep this a secret. Yugi looked at Atem with a pleading look, hoping he would get the silent question.
