ALIYU

I went back home thinking about what Binta told me
She is making sense,but can I really forget about Aisha?

No I can't,I love her too much to let go
I was too tired that I even forgot that I haven't prayed not even zuhur

It was when I woke up in the morning,that I combined everything together

I took my bath, dress up and left for Aisha's house because I kept dreaming about her all night

I was shocked and speechless when I saw Aisha coming down from a black Benz glk

Is this my Aisha?
She looks different and very beautiful
I immediately felt jealous

I just followed her inside without saying anything

She didn't even look at me,
I greeted mama and sat down on the chair waiting for Aisha

I was there for more than two hours before Aisha finally come out of her room to meet me

I felt like hugging her, because I have missed her so much

Immediately I saw her I started smiling like a mumu.

»ehen Mr man what do you want?
I thought I said I don't want to see you again?
Abih you are still doubting what I told you?
Look I now have a better person
Who can take care of me
You are too broke for my liking

And I am not your type
Go for someone at your level
Abeg don't come and be disturbing me
She said trying to leave the room

I quickly hold her hand and knelt down on the floor
Please Aisha, don't do this to me
You know I love you
I will try everything I can to get a new job, please don't leave me Aisha
I can't survive it

She dragged her hands that I almost fell on the floor and said

Don't you ever touch me again,do you know the amount I am spending on this hand,that you are using that your poverty hand to touch?

I dragged myself from the floor and was going out when I saw Binta at the door crying
She holds my hands and help me to stand straight
She looks at Aisha and said
You will surely regret what you just did,trust me!

Binta didn't let go of my hands even after going out of Aisha's house,
She stopped a cab for us and we left

BINTA
I was still on my bed sleeping when my phone rang
I quickly picked after seeing Aisha's mom was the one calling
Good morning mama I said after picking

«good morning Binta»
Sorry I didn't know you will still be sleeping, she said

No it's okay ma no problem I said

I just saw a car drop Aisha off now and I saw her packing her belongings I don't know what she is planning to do ooh
I don't think I have the strength to talk to her, please can you come over?
Mama pleaded with me

okay ma no problem I will be on my way now,I said trying to leave the bed.

I took my bath and put on a comfy dress before going to mummy's room to tell her about it.

The car I saw outside Aisha's house left my mouth wide open.

I freezed when I saw what Aisha was doing to Aliyu when I was trying to enter the room after knocking for sometime no response

I couldn't move a bit
I didn't know this side of Aisha exist
She really surprised me

I quickly came back to my senses when I saw Aisha trying to push Aliyu to the floor
I didn't even know when I grabbed his hand and left after saying the only words that I managed to compose to Aisha.

I didn't even know where to go to after getting a cab
I just asked the driver to take us to unguwan rimi because that's the only place I could think of at the moment.

Aliyu was quite through out the journey to his house,
Thank God he has stopped crying
He sat on the sofa and I sat down on the sofa opposite him still thinking of what to say when I heard him saying

«Aisha really surprised me
I never knew she could do something like that to me,after all the love we shared
What should I do Binta?»»»

I didn't say a word I just stand up and went to the fridge luckily there is water,I bought out a sachet of water and gave it to him.

We were quite for more than a hour before I could finally bring myself to talk

Aliyu I think it's better you stop going to Aisha for now,let her be
Maybe if she stops seeing you she might want to come back.
For now just take care of yourself and hustle you need it.

I will like to take my leave I said to him.

I am never going back to Aisha again
I think I will have to take Binta's advice and forget about Aisha
After all there are many girls in the world that will be willing to die for me

When Mubarak came running to me shouting out my name

I didn't even bother answering when he continued

I just shook my head and continue grieving over the job and Aisha that I lost at the same time.
