Chapter 5 - Picture Perfect

"I told you if you just asked him, he'd be cool" Tayte said,

"Can I really? Just for a few hours down the mall"

"A few hours only"

"Thank you, love you so much, I'll ring and get Macey to pick me up, I promise it'll only be for a few hours" she kissed me and ran off,

"Such a lovely brother" Tayte said,

"Shut up"

Angelo and Noah came in with plates full of breakfast, a poached egg and sausage bap to be precise,

"Where's Arii?" Noah asked,

"Gone to get ready to go out" I replied, taking my plate,

"After what happened"

"Yes Noah," I took a bite, "God, this is good" they smiled.

After half an hour, I got up, thankfully nobody...

"Where are you heading?" Or not,

"Seriously Tayte...back off, I'm going to pack" I told him, grabbing my crutches and leaving the room,

"Sorry I care"

"I didn't tell you to stop caring, just...if I need you, I'll say" I hollered, as I slowly made my way up the stairs and into our room. I sat on the bed and put my head into my lap, with my hands on it.

Where are you Mum and Dad?

I sighed and got up, grabbing two bags; to pack for Tayte and I. My phone rang as I was zipping up a bag and about to sit on the bed, I grabbed it and then sat down,

"Hello Keane it's me

Whose me?

Look, you might want to help me, or can help me, but if I don't know who you are then I can't trust you

You've met me before

I've met a lot of people before

You've met me recently, on your previous travels and that's all I'm going to say. But believe me; I am on your side...

I want to believe you, but...I've got to be wary, you could be some spy trying to get information, I can't put my family at risk

When you go to England...

Wait; hold up...how do you know we're going there?

Right...okay, none of this is making sense, so let's just...okay, when we go to England...

And with that, the call ended, I laid back, should I tell anyone about this? I decided that I wouldn't, which was probably not the cleverest thing to do.

"Keane...you okay?" Tayte called,

"Yeah, I'm good" I answered, as he came into the room,

"Arii, said she'll be back in a hour" I nodded,

"I packed you a bag"

"Thanks" There was a few minutes silence,

"Look, I'm sorry if I'm a bit...you're my brother Keane and I care about you. I'm not going to change and you know that I know you more than anyone else, even Noah at times"
