Y/N POV
I stepped out of the room and saw Jeon and Prabha laughing. I felt relieved and joined them.
Y/N: Hey, what's so funny?
Jeon: Nothing, just... [He heard my voice and turned around] Oh, you are looking pretty...
Y/N: Thank you [she said shyly, tucking her hair behind her ear] So what were you two laughing about?
Prabha: I was asking Jeon if he has any friends or younger brothers he could introduce me to. [she said, glancing at Jeon, and Jeon understood. Y/N noticed how quickly Prabha had opened up in such a short time.]
Jeon: Yeah, I have six younger brothers in the family. I can introduce you, but only three are around your age [Y/N came and sat beside Jeon.]
Prabha: I'll be fine with just one, what would I do with so many?[she said, laughing.]
Y/N: Prabha, JAI SHREE RAM [reminding Prabha indirectly about her boyfriend Ram, and upon hearing this, Prabha rolled her eyes.]
Jeon: What is that? [confused]
Y/N: Nothing, Prabha is just a big devotee of Lord Ram, sooo... [she started laughing.]
Jeon's POV:
Y/N's smile is so pretty. Why does she look extra pretty today? Her hair is falling on her face. Should I tuck it behind her ear? Calm down, Kim Seok Jin, it'd be awkward, and there's also this little packet here who might trouble Y/N. While I was thinking all this, Y/N's voice brought me out of my thoughts.
Y/N: Shall we eat now? [asked while looking at jeon]
Jeon: Yeah, sure[smiles.]
Prabha: Hey Jeon, I know you're a guest and stuff, but I don't like formalities, so please help Y/N bring the food from the kitchen. I'll be back in 2 minutes; I need to make a call [saying this, Prabha left towards her room, she wanted jeon and y/n to spend some time alone, and Jeon watched her go.]
Y/N: So, what do you have to say about Prabha now, I mean she's very calm, right? [said while heading towards the kitchen.]
Jeon: Your warning was absolutely right [he laughed.] She is indeed a bit too high on life [I followed her.]
Y/N: But I am lucky to have her, thank God she's like this, quite different from me but also very similar .i have full entertainment in my life because she is like this and also she is someone i can totally count on [handed some utensils to Jeon and held some herself.]
Jeon: i miss my young brothers after meeting her for some reasons And thank God you are like this, Miss Guide [Jeon took the items Y/N handed him and went to the dining area.]
Jeon: Wait, stand still for a moment[Jeon noticed that a strand of Y/N's hair kept falling into her eyes, which she was repeatedly trying to push back but couldn't quite manage.]
Y/N: Why? [I stood still, but my heart started racing the very next moment.]
Jin's POV:
As soon as Y/N stood straight, I gently pushed that stray hair back with my hand. My hand touched Y/N's forehead, and suddenly my hands became cold, and I could also sense Y/N's nervousness. 'Kim Seok Jin, how can you be so nervous? Calm down,' I thought, as I tucked the hair behind her ear.
Jin: Here you go.
Y/N: Thank you. [Do I really like him? Was Prabha right? I mean, there are other guys around me, but I've never felt what I feel in Jeon's presence.]
Author's POV:
Jin and Y/N set all the food on the dining table and waited for Prabha to come. She then come out from her room, and they all sat together for dinner – Jin and Y/N on one side, Prabha opposite them. They talked about general life stuff. Jeon shared how hectic his life is in Korea and his experiences in Jaipur. Prabha noticed how Jeon and Y/N were shyly exchanging smiles and making eye contact, and she was happy to see it.
Jin's attention was entirely on Y/N, observing how she talked and smiled. Laughing, Y/N placed her hand on Jin's shoulder, making him feel shy but happy at the same time.
Y/N was also enjoying this moment, feeling comfortable and happy that her best friend was comfortable with Jeon. She was enjoying the eye contact with Jeon, and these interactions were giving both Y/N and Jin butterflies.
Prabha: Y/N, could you get some tissues from the kitchen, please?
Y/N: Sure [she got up and went towards the kitchen. As soon as Y/N left, Prabha looked at Jeon.]
Prabha: I'm doing you a favor, remember my kindness and please return it with interest in future [she winked, and Y/N came back.] Y/N, I'll be back in 20-30 minutes. I have to meet Ram Ji [mentioning her boyfriend] he's come down to see me. We're going out for ice cream. What flavor would you two like?
Jeon: Vanilla works for me [he said with a wide smile, understanding what Prabha meant by her favor.]
Y/N: Get me strawberry, please [she said, handing the tissues to Prabha.]
Y/N's POV:Prabha asked us for our ice cream flavors and left. She came close to me and whispered 'enjoy' in my ear, and for some reason, that made me feel shy. TEDHI HAI BUT MERI HAI, and Jeon was looking at me.
Y/N: what ? [I asked with a smile.]
Jeon: Nothing. [He smiled back.]
Y/N: Shall we go to the balcony area until Prabha returns?
Jeon: Since Prabha told me I'm not a guest here and there's no need for formalities, shall we put these dishes in the kitchen first? And can I help with the washing? [i don't know why but i felt like doing this with her]
Y/N: No way! [I said a bit loudly.] When I come to your house, will you allow me to wash dishes?
Jeon: Of course, we'll cook together and wash dishes together [He said with a smile.]
Y/N: But I'm not going to let that happen. Just put the dishes in the sink.[Is Jeon flirting??? Oh god, how is my heart going to handle all this in one day??]
Jin's POV:
We put the dishes in the kitchen and went to the balcony. There was a nice breeze, Y/N's hair was blowing in the wind, and she was trying to control it. She's cute. Should I tell Y/N who I really am? It doesn't feel right to hide my identity when she's so transparent about her life. Y/N deserves to know who I am. I don't want anything between us to start with a lie or any hidden truths. Although I am being my real self with Y/N, my identity isn't. I am not Jeon; I am Jin. While I was thinking all this, Y/N asked me:
Y/N: What are you thinking about? [Looking at Jeon.]
Jin: I've never been as real as I have been these past few days. I'm usually not this open with anyone other than my family, but it feels good to be able to open up to someone else. Trust me, you have no idea how much distance I maintain from girls. Don't take it the wrong way, but I'm not usually comfortable. [I said while looking into Y/N's eyes.]
Y/N: I'm glad to know that. And honestly, I usually don't get comfortable with someone so quickly either. For me, this is new too, opening up and feeling comfortable with someone I met just a few days ago.
Jin: Sometimes, I guess it doesn't matter how long we've known someone. With some people, just spending a little time and feeling their vibe, you feel a connection. [He said, looking at the sky.]
Y/N: True [I looked at Jeon and then at the sky.]
Jin: Although what you know about me might not be entirely true but it is also not a lie this is real me but there's something I need to share with you. [He said, looking at Y/N.]
