Olivia was the one driving this time. She was the one that planned this trip, something that excited Oscar. He had tried to make her slip up but she was good. She just smiled at him and drove.

His excitement however depleted when he realized where they were. "Liv..." She parked and turned to him. A soft look on her face, her bright ocean eyes looking at him.

He frowned, "You know don't you..." She hummed and nodded, "I do." She said and he lowered his head. "I'm sorry." He whispered.

But then he felt her hand on top of his. He looked back up at her, she smiled at him, "Why are you apologizing?"

"Because I didn't tell you."

"You did."

"I did?"

She chuckled, the sound making his heart melt, he loves that sound. "You did. You said you drove cars." She said. He groaned at himself, "Liv-" "Given it wasn't specific but I didn't ask further." She cut him off.

They stared at each other, realizing the lack of communication they had towards discussing his job. They let out chuckles and shook their head, "Well, now that its settled, what did you have planned?" he asked motioning to the place.

She smiled at him, "I'm assuming you karted..." he hummed and nodded, "I did." Olivia grinned, "Can you teach me?"

Teaching Liv was a sight. She knew how to drive, what she needed help was driving fast. She was worried but he was there to teach her.

But after watching Oscar do some laps she was ready. "Are you sure? You don't have if-" "I can." She cut him off.

It was Oscar standing by the side now. She looked at him and he nodded, and with a blink she was off. His jaw dropped at the sight, she smoothly drove fast around the track and he let out a chuckle of disbelief.

After a lap or two, she stood up from the kart and took off the helmet. As if like the time had stop, Olivia fixed her hair and looked up at Oscar. The sight of her in a race suit, helmet in hand, a small smile on her face, the ocean eyes staring at him.

His heart couldn't take it. He let out a breath. He knew he was gawking but could you blame him?

"Oscy?"

"I can't breathe..."

Her face contorted into worry. Placed a hand on his cheek and the other on his chest. "Oscar."

"You make it harder to breathe Liv..."

"I'm sorry?" she asked confused and worried at the same time. She was about to move away, give him space but he grabbed her hand.

"Don't." he said and closed his eyes. Placing her hand on his chest again, letting her feel his erratic heart. "You do that, did you know that?"

Opening his brown eyes, his meeting hers, "If only you knew what you do to me Liv." He whispered. She gulped, "I- Oscar." She said with a sigh.

Suddenly, the fear appeared in her mind again. The past creeping up to her again and that terrified her. He hummed and smiled, he nodded, "It's okay. I can wait."

Olivia was now standing in front of her door, she looked at Oscar, she smiled, "Thank you for telling me about your job." He chuckled and nodded, "Hope it wasn't boring."

"I enjoyed it." Oscar knew that. He saw the way she looked at him when he was talking about McLaren, Lando, his Ate Angel, his best friends, the tracks, the countries, the cars, her eyes showed it all.

She was interested, they showed curiosity and amazement. It made Oscar's heart swell. Someone was listening to him ramble about a life passion so well, it made him feel noticed, loved even if you can describe it like that.

He knew it was too soon, but he really can't help it. How can you stop a feeling so beautiful and warm? Why would you want to stop that?

The two said their goodbyes, they walked inside their apartment. Both walking in further, Oscar sitting on his couch while Olivia crouched down to greet Ruru.

Their eyes looked out their balcony, there weren't any stars out, just the bright moon. It was a beautiful sight. And for Olivia, it was a memory she will forever remember. She just hoped it would help her be ready, because in all honesty, she didn't want to make him wait for long.
