As you can probably tell, here's a note from the author (a.k.a, me).

I use a LOT of abbreviations, coz, ya know, ya girl is LAZYYY so here's a list of some of them just in case you wanted to know:
IPL- Indian Premier League MI- Mumbai Indians GT- Gujurat Titans RCB- Royal Challengers Bangalore ICT- Indian Cricket Team
And some cricket terminology if you're not a cricket-girlie (or boy):
Slip- the person who is standing relatively close to the wicket keeper, but kind of diagonal(ish) to the stumps
Caught behind- clue's in the name, literally caught behind the wickets.
Bails- the little bits that go on top of the stumps that light up when they fall off.
Oh, and a couple of fielding positions:

And something REALLY important, which a lot of people don't seem to get, is that the PITCH is not the same as the FIELD. The PITCH is the strip of grass with wickets on each end. The FIELD, is everything, the circular boundary, and everything within it.
I don't know if you can tell, but when people call the field the pitch, it REALLY gets to me.
