He couldn't believe it for the first time in moons. He finally sees a she-wolf he can trust. a she-wolf who accepts him for who he is, not what he is. a she-wolf who can lead him to a better life, a life filled with love and acceptance. He follows Talvi, her movements graceful and confident; the forest around them seems to come alive with their presence, the trees swaying gently in the breeze, the animals stirring in their sleep. They only knew each other just now, but he felt like he knew them his entire life.

He never thought that she would survive out here with such a delicate face of hers, but then again, she is no ordinary she-wolf. She is strong, resilient, and fierce. She has the heart of a warrior and the soul of a poet. And as they walk through the forest, he can't help but feel as if he's walking alongside a goddess, a being of pure beauty and grace.

"What are you thinking?" She teased curiously, and she flashed a pearly white smile at him as they continued walking. He hesitated for a moment before responding, "I was just thinking about how lucky I am to have found you, Talvi." He responded honestly, looking into her amber eyes. "You and your pack have given me a new hope, a new life." She blushed slightly at his words, her ears flicking back in a shy manner.

Cedar's words made her heart swell with pride and gratitude. She had always been drawn to those who were struggling, those who were in need of guidance and love. Seeing him blossom before her eyes, transforming from a broken, hateful creature into a strong, compassionate wolf, filled her with a sense of accomplishment that she had never experienced before. "You have gone through so much pain; despite that, you still have the courage to look forward and find your place in this world," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "You are truly an inspiration, Cedar."

His heart skipped a beat at her words, and he couldn't help but feel a blush creep up his fur. "Thank you, Talvi," he said softly, his voice barely above a whisper. "I never thought I'd find such a place in this world, but with you and your pack, I finally do." They continued walking through the forest, the moonlight casting a soft, silver glow over the trees and the animals that lived within them. As they walked, they passed by a small clearing where a group of wolves were gathered around a fire, their eyes closed as they slept.

She giggled softly, careful not to wake them. "They are not as tough as they seem," she said, gesturing to the sleeping wolves. "We all need our rest from time to time." Cedar chuckled, feeling more at ease than he had in years. He couldn't help but admire Talvi's grace and strength.

He yawned, stretching his long limbs as they continued walking. "I can't wait to meet the rest of your pack, Talvi. I hope they'll accept me as easily as you have." She glanced over at him, a small smile playing on her lips. "Of course they will, Cedar. We are a family, and we welcome those who need us. You are one of us now." The thought of belonging to a pack and having a family again filled him with a sense of warmth that spread through his entire body.

"We should sleep, Cedar. I'll show you where you can rest," Talvi said softly, leading him deeper into the forest. The trees grew thicker around them, their branches intertwined above, creating a natural canopy that blocked out most of the moonlight. She paused for a moment, her nose twitching as she caught a familiar scent in the breeze. "We're almost there," she whispered, a smile curving her lips.

Ahead of them, a large clearing opened up, lit by the soft glow of the stars. In the center stood a magnificent, ancient tree, its trunk wide enough to fit several wolves comfortably. A group of wolves lay curled up at its base, their fur shimmering in the starlight. Talvi gestured toward the tree. "This is where we sleep. You can rest here too, if you'd like," she says. Cedar looked around, amazed by the beauty of the clearing. "It's perfect," he murmured. Talvi smiled, pleased that he liked it. "I'll wake you up if anything happens," she offered, her voice soft and reassuring. With a final nod, she turned and disappeared into the darkness, her feet silently carrying her toward her own resting spot. Cedar watched her go, feeling a strange mix of gratitude and affection. He'd never known such peace or contentment, and he couldn't help but wonder if this was what it felt like to truly belong somewhere. Gingerly, he padded over to the tree and laid down beside one of the sleeping wolves. As he drifted off to sleep, he could feel the gentle rise and fall of the wolf's chest against his fur and the warmth of their bodies seeping into his own.
