"Yes?" I took my earbuds out as soon as I heard it, moved towards my bedroom door. Pagbukas ko, Andrea and her cousins are in front of me...
"Happy bertday, ate! Happy bertday, ate! Happy bertday happy bertday... HAPPY BERTDAY... TO YOU!" they sang in their singing voices pagpasok pa lang ng kwarto ko.
Andrea held a small heart-shaped vanilla cake with tiny red hearts na may kandila, sina Nathaniel, Sevier and Chris held one flower each - na parang sa garden yan galing(still awww 🧸), and Albert is holding a number 1 and 7 balloons.
I couldn't help but to smile and open my mouth a little in shock. It's not even my birthday yet! Well, malapit-lapit na nga - but still! Ang aga naman ng surprise nila! 😭🥰
"Make a wish, ate!" Andrea said, smiling.
I closed my eyes for a few seconds while making my wish, then I blew the candle, "Ang sweet naman! Thank you, thank you sa inyo!" I remarked.
"Happy bertday po ate~" the three handed the flowers to me na parang mga manliligaw. Ang cucute nila, jusko!
"Thank you, cuties!" I pulled them closer for a bear hug and kissed their cheeks one-by-one. "Kayo din, Drea. Nat." I invited them for a hug, too.
"Love you po!" sabya-sabay nilang sinabi as they gave me a kiss on my cheeks, too.
"Love you guys, too!" ani ko, rubbing their backs and gently withdrew from the embrace.
"Baba na tayo, ate!"aya ni Andrea na bumaba habang hinihila niya yung kamay ko.
"Sandali lang!" I giggled lightly, as I placed the mini birthday cake on my desk and the flowers beside it saka ko kinunan ng litrato with my phone.
