I found it
What I was searching for
In those mere centimeters between our lips
Which so quickly turned to no space at all
My thumb brushing the curve of your cheek
Laughing and smiling as I lean in
Slowly
Closer and closer
I found it
That thing I was chasing in the heat between our bodies
That thing I see in your smile every time
Giggling amidst all seriousness
I found it
A moment of peace in your arms
Smiles flowing like water from above
The pitter-patter drowning out
Our whispers
I found it
That bliss I thought had vanished with time
To be rekindled by you
I found it
Hope in a tomorrow
Hope in us
