Lisa's pov
Shane looked so shaken he could barely even walk and had to sit down. Lisa," he said, "who did this to you?.." "I fell down the stairs and hit my head.." I lied. "I did this to myself. It was nobodies fault.." "I just called you because I needed um. I uh. I needed your help. You know. Um. Cleaning up." I said. "Oh okay." Shane said, clearly not convinced. He took me to the bathroom and started to wash my face. "Lisa. This doesn't look like you fell down the stairs. What really happened..?.." Said Shane nervously. "Nothing. I just tripped and fell down the stairs." I said. "I think we should go to the hospital" Shane said. Oh shit. The doctor will ask me how it happened. I can't lie to them.
Shane: so um where's your boyfriend?
Me: Oh. He. Um. Had to go to the store. To. Buy uh. Milk.
Shane: Lisa.
Me: Yeah..
Shane: I don't believe you.
