I saw the look on Lisa's face when she heard Doctor Dix say she had more bad news. She'd heard enough bad news in the past 24 hours. "What is it?" Lisa said, holding back tears. Doctor Dix had a straight face.. "The surgery may not work completely.. And it's quite expensive. I just don't know if it's your best option-" "we're still going to do it... We're going to try.." DID I REALLY JUST SAY THAT.... Oh God. And here I go again acting like I'm Lisa's boyfriend or something...
Lisa's pov
Woah. Damn Shane. He's acting like he's my boyfriend or something.. This isn't his choice.. But what else would we do with the $5,000 we just raised?... "Yeah. I agree with Shane." I said quietly. "Okay then. It can be preformed whenever you have the money.." "We have the money now.. Is that okay?" Shane said, standing up "I could go to the bank right now."
"Oh. Alright then. It could start in about three hours." Said Doctor Dix, walking out the door. I smiled as Shane left to get the money from the bank.
