.......Recovering in the hospital along with the victims of Charles Livengood are his sister, Beatrice Livengood and 15 year old Daisy Delaney, credited with saving the life of world famous criminologist, Reuben Cropps. Daisy's grandmother, Gail Key, brought the killer, Charles Livengood down with a fifty year old, 25 caliber gun, her mother gave her before she passed. "I had that gun in my pocket since I found out Randall Michael Wall was on the loose. Weren't nobody gonna hurt my family," she was quoted as saying.
Her granddaughter, Daisy, is expected to make a full recovery.
There was a photograph taken by Geoffrey Guthrie of a recovering Daisy in a hospital bed with her Nana Gaill and Nannie Jo by her bedside and a boy holding her hand and gazing at her with what was obvious love and concern. The caption read: Recovering hero, Daisy Delaney, surrounded by her grandmothers, Jo and Gail, and friend, Ren Callahan.
