I probably won't chase you

Because I think I'll scare you away

I should tell you that you're beautiful

But I think you already know that

It's so terribly obvious to me

I assume everyone in the world must already know

I should tell you everything I feel

But isn't it etched into the lines of my face?

I think the whole world looks at you

Because who could ignore you

Because I'm scared you won't agree

I'm scared our hands will touch and you'll pull back

I'll keep it quiet

Hoping you'll chase me first
