Chapter 22

KOLONIA

'Oh gods.' My heart was racing. How am I supposed to tell a boy that I'm supposed to be leading that I completely missed the turn? Zero's gonna think I'm an absolute idiot.

I might as well tell him; "Hey, uh... Zero, we missed a turn a long time ago." I blushed.

"Did you get distracted by my adorable face?" He chirped.

When I noticed he was looking at me, I nodded ever-so-slightly

"Aw, that's cute." He said flirtily

"But seriously we need to turn back" I said slightly annoyed

He must have noticed my temper because he led me the other way.

"Which room is it again?" I asked

"38." He said tersely.

"Ok, here it is!" He chuckled, pointing to his new dorm.

"Wanna help me unpack? Then you can take me to lunch." He said with that handsome face.

"Yeah, sure sounds good I have a romantic place in mind if that's what you're looking for"

I said trying to flirt

"Romantic, Huh? Like how much?" he said as he was unpacking

"Pretty romantic, meaning we have a ginormous booth so we can you know - Blows kiss-" I said, mildly hoping he agreed

"Sounds terrific!" He said, grabbing my hand

"Wait before we go I need to call and make a reservation" I said tapping my ear to make a call.

He nodded, smiling like he understood.

After making a reservation I led out in the huge double-doors.

Wow.

Whilst this wasn't my first 'relationship', I had never really gotten this far, this fast.

I led him down the hall to the lot. I quickly harnessed up my Zenira and slipped on a custom bridle. Zenira gnashed her teeth, wanting to get on the road.

"Up," I grumbled to Zero, grimacing as I swung on. We rode to The Wynstonian, dust churning up around us. When we arrived, the stunning view took my breath away, as it had done many times before. The outside was so vibrant and colourful when we got inside we saw " couples " or what looked like them anyway.

"Do you guys have a reservation?" The man asked

"I made a reservation for the name Lyla" I told the man

He scrolled down on the tablet in front of him and then led us to our booth.

When we got down before I had even looked at the menu "I know what I wanna order" I said triumphantly.

"You haven't even looked at the menu," He said, sounding confused.

"I have been here so many times. I know the menu by heart! See the 3rd to the bottom on the left is a Qnollae burger" I said, flaunting my ability to memorise, hoping he would be impressed.

"Okay, well I think I'll try" He started.
