Me and Alex were on the way back to the house from Mary Margaret's grandparents' house.
Mary Margaret sat in the back with Leah while me and Alex were in the front.
Mary and Leah were knocked OUT, but they looked so peaceful sleeping.
Alex's phone had died, so he looked around the car and found a random notebook. "I'm gonna read it," Alex said to me.
"Ight," I said back as I kept my eyes on the road.

Leah's life (page 1)
I just got home and all I hear is yelling. Nobody will tell me what's going on and I'm just tired of this. Mykel isn't here for me to talk to and Mary Margaret is dealing with her step grandfather and real grandmothers family. This makes me feel like I don't want to be here no more. Mary Margaret fathers family doesn't include her in anything she feels like she's a failure and I feel invisible this is a fucked up world I hate it.

I just got home from my dad's family's house and damn I've never felt so alone in my life. I was at my dad's real mother and his stepfathers house. All I hear is about there other grandchildren and my brother and how he's about to graduate from college and get a good job. Then my aunts children they won't stop comparing my younger photos to my younger cousins and I feel like shit. Then my dad's other parents his real father and his stepmother. His stepmother won't stop yelling at me she hates me specifically. She doesn't yell at my brother she never has and she won't even raise her voice to her niece and nephew. She just targets me and my mom's family all you hear is about my brother and my little cousin. I'm done with this world!

Alex was in shock, and I was too, but I kept driving. "Damn, no wonder they always have moments in school where they cry or leave class with each other," Alex says to me.
"Yeah, I feel bad about them," I replied back.
All of a sudden, I heard Leah's voice. "What the hell are y'all reading..."
