Chapter 40: Shocker for the Family

They landed in India.

Veer told the family to send the car and not come to the airport early in the morning.

They came out of the airport holding hands, luggage in the other hand and butterflies in their stomach..

They reached home. It was a surprise for them to see Veer and Mishti's family together..and they welcomed with arti and a "welcome back" decoration done by Pari and Vanessa

Mishti and Veer hugged everyone..

Their parents could sense the change in their children..

Van: bhabi you got my gift?

P: and di mine too?

V: of course ladies. Your dear Bhabhi and di packed so many things..that it's over weight..excess baggage..He smirked

Mishti rolled her eyes

M: ignore him, girls..

V: really? Did I carry or you? ignore me? you know I am hard to be ignored

M: because you are stronger.. you can carry everything on your shoulder..dont you?

V: really Mishti..? a bad joke..

Van: time out, guys..

Mishti unpacked the things..and gave those to everybody one by one.. and Veer was smiling seeing she actually bought those gifts for each of the family members based on the minute details they liked..

V(in mind): how can I not love this girl..see the excitement she has while giving gifts. She does not have it while buying her own stuff. I am so lucky to have her.. she is so selfless...

VM: Aren't you guys hungry? You both have become so lean.

MM: yeah, both of you need to gain weight..

Veer and Mishti smiled..

VD: let's have breakfast together..

Breakfast table:

VM: Mishti, what do you want for breakfast? Mishti was looking at so many dishes they cooked..

Before she could answer..

Veer passed aloo paratha to her plate..

P: jeez, di don't like to eat aloo paratha for breakfast..it's too oily..

M: sometimes I like it..and after staying out of India you have to love Indian food. she answered

V: and she cooks best aloo parathas, he said while eating without even looking at anyone

Mishti knows he loves all the small things she does for him.. 

M: Veer loves Aloo Paratha..

V: Bhai loves aloo paratha? in shock

P: Do you guys do exercise there?

Van: yeah, so many calories..in your terms bhai..

Veer looked at Mishti playfully..

V: yeah, we both burn a lot of calories every day. It is in our everyday routine. right Mishti? he smirked and squeezed her thigh under the table
