Winnie walked to the kitchen. She saw her mum and dad sitting down.
''Where's your sister?" Fido asked.
"Fido, we can tell her later," Ophelia responded.
Winnie wondered what all the fuss was about, but then eyed a small white bag on the table. Her mum gestured to it, and Winnie reached inside. She pulled out four strips of small paper and gasped.
"Mum, Dad? You shouldn't have! Cruise tickets?! For my birthday?!"
''Thirteen is special, " her dad put his paw on his wife's hand.
She said her thank you's and hurried off to pack. Winnie grabbed her silver suitcase and started to toss important things for a vacation in it. Her sister caught the tone from her and shoved her sunglasses in her pink backpack.
"Make sure you have enough for six days!" Ophelia yelled over the hustle.
"SIX DAYS!?" Tillie gasped.
"We're going on a cruise for my birthday!" Winnie informed her eleven-year-old sister.
