Unexpected discovery

Many people had reached out to Dunk as well after the incident, sharing with him similar hardship that they had went through and how he had inspired them. Dunk had even collaborated with a few NGOs and created a platform of useful resources that people may find in their times of need rather than going through the challenges that he did. He was even given an ambassadorship and a title for his effort and how he had brought this topic up to light. Joong had felt so proud of Dunk for walking out of it and choosing to help others in the process. He had always wondered how his faen ended up as kind as he is when the world had been exactly the opposite. Dunk would tell him that he wouldn't be the person he is today without the support that he had from the people around him. He want others to have the same support he did. Joong had that dopey smile on his face as he listened.

They were finally granted a moment of peace after all that had happened. They were watching a movie together at the living room of Dunk's house, when Phuwin came over.

"Hia, do you still need these photos? I was thinking of using this hard disc but I saw some of your old uni photos in it. Can you check through them?" Dunk booted his laptop to see what photos Phuwin was referring to. Joong was curious as to what Dunk looked like in uni.

"Is that you?" Joong was shocked when he saw the photo. Dunk nodded. It was undeniably him as he sees Pond standing next to him in the next picture. 

Joong was shocked as he stared at the picture of his uni crush. He was about to confess to him but he had disappeared all of a sudden one day. His crush, his first love is his current boyfriend?! Just as he was processing through his emotions. He saw his picture.

"Why do you a picture of me?" Joong asked as Dunk's eyes widen.

"That's you?! It can't be! That was my first crush-" Dunk closed his mouth with his hand. He looked at the picture closely and looks at Joong once again, going back and forth between both. Not believing what he saw. Joong was giddy with joy to realized that Dunk had crushed on him as well in uni. Suddenly it felt like they were two teenagers who just found their first love.

"You were my first crush too. I was about to confess but it was as if you didn't exist." Joong confessed.

"I was about to confess too but my parents passed away and my whole world changed. I'm sorry." Dunk apologized but yet finding the whole situation bizarre. He couldn't believe his first crush; his first love is currently his boyfriend. He had been heartbroken when he realized he had to give up his love to support his brothers. His heart had died that day but for him to find out that they still ended up together was surreal. They stared at each other without words, trying to absorb the information that came to light. Pond walked in on this scene, curious as to what had happened. When both Joong and Dunk had told him that they were each other's uni crush. He was equally shocked.

"If only I had somehow introduced you guys. You guys wouldn't have needed to wait this long to get together." Dunk had comforted him saying that things wouldn't have change for the better because of the circumstances. Their timing was just right. All three of them had laughed after realizing how fate had played out.

"I was destined to love you." Joong told Dunk that night as he kissed him.

Is this it? Is this the end? not really... there's still quite a bit to go. If as per my first series I would have call it a special but I think it is more of a main story than a special. so it's still ongoing. 

The backstory is right after this. I was contemplating on whether to write it at the beginning since it's kinda a sad ending to it, I had rolled out quite a bit of angst already....but 🤣🤣it goes without saying that i wrote it in the end. I was just afraid that the series is getting longer and longer than what I intended it to be and whether it will bore you out.
