Craig drove us to his house. We planned to exchange gifts after school that day due to the fact that my parents wanted to spend the rest of break in our (H/T) with family. Although I didn't want to spend so long away from Craig, my argument was irrelevant to my parents. Craig wasn't too enthused about the idea when I told him, either, but he understood. Luckily, his parents were both at work and Ruby was at her class Christmas Party that day when we got to his house, so we were home alone.

When we entered the house, Craig threw his bag on the couch and went straight to the tree, shuffling through the presents. After placing my bag neatly on the ground next to the door, I took a seat on the couch, waiting patiently for him to finish.

After finding what he was looking for, he handed me a small box that was neatly wrapped. I looked up to him to see a small self-satisfied smile.

"Someone is excited," I commented.

His smile quickly faded, but the blush on his cheeks was quick to appear. "J-just open it."

I unwrapped the small package to find a small velvet box. I felt my heart jump knowing that whatever was inside was going to be amazing. I glanced to Craig, who was watching closely. I took a deep breath and opened the box to see a tear drop shaped diamond which was protected by a silver backing. I looked that the sliver backing to see that it was engraved with '(Y/N) & Craig'.

I was totally speechless. This was the most beautiful piece of jewelry I had ever seen. I couldn't believe that he got me something like that.

"Do you like it?" he asked, licking his lips.

"Craig, holy shit. Craig! This much have cost you a fortune," I replied, not daring to take my eyes off the necklace.

"Last month's entire paycheck." he smirked.

"What the hell? We agreed to not spend too much. I thought you'd get me like a stuffed animal or something," I whined.

"Fine," he said, snatching the box from my hand. "I'll take it back and get you a bear then."

"No, but Craig, I love it so much. It's honestly the greatest gift someone could get me," I panicked.

He smirked, "I could think of one better."

I quickly stood up, "That's it; I'm leaving."

I went to the door to get my stuff, obviously joking, but Craig was one to quickly panic.

"No, no, it was only a joke. I know that's not a joke. Here, take your present," he pleaded, following me.

I was satisfied to see how easily I had him wrapped around me. "Fine, I'll stay, but will you put that on me?"

His facial expressions soften, and he pulled the necklace out of the box. I moved my hair, and he pulled his long arms over me. Once it was latched in the back, I felt my fingers graze over the beautiful necklace.

Then, I turned to him and pulled him down for a kiss. He pulled me in tighter to deepen the kiss, but I stumbled, causing him to fall to the ground with me on top of him.

"You're so clumsy," he mumbled.

"Shut up," I replied, feeling ecstatic.

I leaned back down to continue our kiss. Things were quick to be heated, as our tongues fought for dominance. Craig easily won that battle through. I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him closer, and he placed his hands on my waist pulling us even close.

Maybe we could-

My thoughts were rudely interrupted as Craig squeezed my sides, causing me to squirm and jump away.

"Y-you're so cruel," I pouted, a bit flustered.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever," he replied, amused with my embarrassment.

"Can we watch (favorite Christmas movie)?" I politely asked.

"Fine, but only because it is your favorite," he agreed.

I had a large smile on my face as I got up to make us some popcorn. Craig got the move set up, and I came back with the popcorn and some soda. When I came back, Craig had the lights off and a large fuzzy blanket on him.

He was lounging on the corner of the sofa, and I took my spot right next to him after setting down our snacks. He snaked his arms around my waist, pulling me into his chest. I nuzzled into his warm body as the movie started.

During the movie I started to doze off. I wanted to fight it, but I was so exhausted from school. It didn't help that Craig was so comfortable to be on either. It was about halfway through the movie that I had lost my internal battle and fallen asleep. Suddenly, I was woken up from my phone, causing me to jump up.

"Huh? What happened?" Craig asked, a bit out of it. It was pretty evident that he had fallen asleep as well.

MOM: You need to come home. The weather is starting to get bad, and you still need to pack.

"I have to go..." I mumbled, disappointed.

"Okay, I guess. Let me get my keys," he said, abruptly getting up.

His sudden movement caused me to fall to the floor, being devoured by the large blanket that he put on us earlier.

"Come on, get up," he bluntly said, pulling the blanket off me.

"I don't want to leave," I complained.

"You think I want you to?" he questioned, peering his head behind the curtain of the window. "We better go. It's snowing quite a bit."

All I could do was pout like a stubborn child.

He gave me a soft look. "Don't worry, I'll be waiting for you to come back."

I sighed and got up. I put my sweatshirt and shoes on. I then peered out the window to see that it looked rather dark and cold out there. My sweatshirt might not be enough. I then turned to Craig who had a rather aggravated look on his face as if he read my mind.

"You really need to start wearing a coat," he lectured me.

"It wasn't snowing like this this morning. Plus, the walk to your car isn't that bad when I know it is going to be pre-heated anyways," I argued.

"What if the car broke down?" he asked.

"I mean your car is fairly new, so that's unlikely; but we could just call someone," I answered.

"And if our phones were dead or there was no service?" he continued to interrogate me.

"Again, extremely unlikely, but I would just have you keep me warm." I smirked.

I saw him fight off a smile. "Whatever, I'll be right back."

He ran upstairs and came back with some clothes. He first handed me a sweatshirt and that zipped me up in a jacked.

"Thank you." I smiled.

"Yeah, whatever. Just put a fucking coat on next time," he replied.

He opened the door, and we ran through the snow quickly to get to his car. It seems that it was snowing a lot more than we expected.

"Damn, it's really cold out there," I commented.

"That's why you wear a coat," his usual disinterested voice replied.

I rolled my eyes. "Oh, just shut up about it already."

The usual drive down the block seemed to take us twice as long. Craig was careful as he drove, considering that it was starting to white out in some areas.

I let out a sigh was we pulled into my driveway. "See you in a few weeks...I guess."

"Don't sound so enthused," he remarked.

"I really don't want to leave you," I whined.

"It'll go by fast," he replied, giving me a gentle kiss.

I gave him a sad smile before running out through the snow and into the house.

I hope Craig is right. I feel like the next two weeks is going to take an eternity.
